Trails Enforcers Tarot Cards day 1: sketch. I feel this will either turn out well or really bad. My main issue is the border bc it doesn't feel complete and I wanna add a gold foil, but it would probably take more attention away from the art. Yeah I didn't study design. Day 6 - I very much underestimated how long it would take to clean up the line work and to put in the flat colors. I'm also trying a different coloring technique which is taking soooo long. And now my wrist and thumb ache so I gotta take another break, yay #WIP #trails_fa

Tried drawing something with an inverse triangle composition... it got really chaotic at the end. I think I lost the assignment lol. Anyway, I initially was banging my head on where this drawing was going. The last two images is me saying "yeah that's it, I'm done." Next day, I continue drawing...

What I drew, showing my progress over the past five days. One day is omitted because there wasn't much progress. Honestly, I'm kind of impressed. This might be the first time I drew a "group photo," and it turned out neat. Definitely had to do a bunch of refreshers on perspective, lighting, and bla.

Took another eternity long break but now drawing characters for another idea. I'm kinda liking having sketchy lineart hence why they look sketchy. Also, the thought of doing clean lineart paralyzes me now, so...

And finally to the present (2025), I somehow ended up developing a video game (visual novel). Huh, I thought I'd make a web comic first, but I ended up here. Funny how life works.

Then came 2024 and at this point I think I figured out my style

And then I was in the groove of making a silly story with silly characters (2023... Oh yeah this was also the year when I figured out that increasing the canvas size helps A LOT)

One last thing that came from 2022. I think the drawings are so scarce because I focused on writing... Or school was a pain in the butt

2022 and I still drew stuff for the Trails of Cold Steel though, mostly for a friend

Still 2021 and I had the ambition to draw fanart for every piece of media I consumed. Only did Omori and Moonlight Fantasy). The last drawing is a redraw of something from an old sketchbook. Short dream.

Then I got obsessed drawing for Black Clover (still 2020)

And then 2020 me still going crazy drawing instead of taking months long breaks

Oh I remember doing this for school

The start of 2019 was a good year for me (in terms of actually doing art)

I remember back then to his earlier design (2018), I said he was too plain. Too much black. A year later to this, I just decided to splash red on him

Not gonna lie, I wanna draw like this again... Think this is still 2017... Oh wait it's 2019. Back then, I drew like every few months or few years. Wasn't a fan of the drawing tab I had because the sound the pen made against the tablet was annoying to my ears
