Last night where I live we have had another "100 year flood:" the third this year. One of my ranch guests (and her dog) is trapped by a flooded river 4.1 miles away, the river spanning from canyon wall to the other wall--- the road itself is gone. Oh, and I am also trapped in the canyon. Argh.
