Now instead of managing spawn, he has to manage Gale’s new flock. They move Morgan to Waterdeep, where she rests in Gale’s old tower. They start to tell stories of the sleeping maiden in the god of ambitions tower and she becomes a little urban legend along the faithful there.

Morgan’s wild magic surges, putting her into a magic coma that ends up lasting years. Panicked, as the Underdark is no place for a sleeping maiden and he’s petrified of living without her, he undergoes a harrowing journey to bring her body back up to the surface. It’s a whole adventure in itself.

Eventually, he calls upon God Gale to help her. Gale agrees, and will even grant Astarion the ability to sunwalk again, if he serves him. He promises to bring healers from all over to examine her. Astarion accepts, becomes god chosen as he sees no other option.

Morgan and Astarion have made their way to the Underdark after some time after the game. Morgan unofficially joins the society of brilliance to work with Omeluim, who’s helping her with her increasingly illithid traits (having to suck the psychic energy out of organs being one…)

Astarion is doing his thing at the fortress of vampire spawn. He is not having a good time, but he gets to traipse to the myconid colony to visit his love when the urge to murder them all gets too strong.

My Tav, (mostly) human wild magic sorcerer. Morgan is a descendent of a group of mind flayer worshippers and is partially illithid herself. I’ve never really talked about her on here, so here’s a little lore dump: #bg3 #bg3tav

It’s the reason The Emperor selects her for his plan, he picks up on their kinship and uses her history of worship to manipulate her into the events of the game. She slurps up a LOT of tadpoles.

Her cult were the descendants of thralls, part of an illithid plan to breed superior psychic hosts for ceremorphosis until it was was interrupted by a gith attack. Only some loyal thralls made it out alive and being enthralled, set up camp and waited for their illithid masters to return.

This led to establishing a cult of worship among their children which continued for many generations. They remained separated from society and continued having extremely psionically powered babies. Morgan is one of them.
