I’ve realized I have a real flowery way of speaking. Expressive, grandiose, fancy vernacular. And I worry it makes me seem like a pretentious prick LMAO I’m not, I just like big words and exaggerated language. It communicates my heart better. Except me saying vernacular that one was intentional

Fuck it. Random furry media I enjoy and recommend Waterways by Kyell Gold. That one is more so nostalgia for me as I read it as a teenager and it was like the first gay romance I read, so it’ll always hold a special place in my heart, even if others would recommend Out of Position more

Housepets, a classic. Anything by the manga creator Nagabe (Monotone Blue my beloved,,,) Echo or Arches. I can’t bring myself to personally play/read either but I know the plots and I respect the hell out of what they do with the FVN medium, definitely not for the faint of heart

Some other FVNs, some I have read, some I haven’t, but regardless I can tell a lot of love went into them and I think are really worth the attention Under Heaven Remember the Flowers Dawn Chorus Nekojishi (also keep an eye on their anticipated sequel that’s an actual game not just FVN)

ALSO MINOTAUR HOTEL God The Hinterlands chapter is genuinely so phenomenal and subverts your expectations of what a FVN experience is, as it’s something so much more and you don’t expect it at all. Really good stuff

The furry community is really bad about promoting furry media that's actually made BY FURRIES and will instead exclusively promote childrens media that happens to have anthro characters There's furry books, comics, there used to be conlang projects Support your fellow artist if you want furry art

Honestly true of a lotta indie things in general but I am very extensive in my pursuit of furry media. I consume A lot Mmm media Also Kyell Gold is biblical, historical text and I think not reading it is a crime and disservice to yourself if you’re a furry like come on that’s foundational stuff
