Definitely a must-read. I found it very insightful

Jason Cohen@asmartbear.com

Hereโ€™s what ๐˜ธ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏโ€™๐˜ต help you land 1:1 interviews with your ICP so you can validate your company: Creating software, adding features, and yapping about nothing on social media. You only need 1-2 methods to work for finding customer interviews. Hereโ€™s a bunch to try.

That's so true, especially in leading roles. It's easy to find programmers, but it's really hard to find problem solvers. And I'm not talking about solving algorithms when I say "solving problems". I'm talking about solving real life problems, and turning them into automated software.

Arthur (Faxraddin) ๐ŸŽ@faxraddin.bsky.social

Coding is just one of your skills Your real job is solving problems, and coding is just one way to get there Take the time to deeply understand the problem youโ€™re addressing When you truly understand the problem, your work will have a far greater impact #buildinpublic #webdev #indiehackers

OpenAI just anounced the o3 model. It is still not available for the general public, but if this benchmarks are true it will probably outperform Claude Sonnet. At this rate I see no competiotion anymore between someone who uses AI for programming and someone who is not (no matter how skillfull).

Absolutely, humans have passion for everything they are good at or for everything that they have an unfair competitive adavntage at. So you either are naturally talented at something, or you work hard to get that competitive advantage.

Ayush ๐Ÿ™@ayushchat.bsky.social

"Find your passion" is BS advice Try to be useful to people People who you find interesting Do it every day Passion follows Practice #BuildInPublic #IndieHackers

2 of the best use cases of AI in coding are testing and error handling. Claude Sonnet nails both, expect when there is a lot of code modularity. In that case you need to feed it with some comprehensive examples. That always work in my experience. What's your AI favorite use case?

Yeah, these no-code tools are meant to be used for MVPs and for quick internal automations. They were hyped by people that sell dreams I think. Anyway with the speed of development with AI, no-code may have reached its peak and will start declining. Expect for non programmers who like to experiment

Jason Cohen@asmartbear.com

Whatโ€™s nice about all these people thinking they can no-code a competitive software productโ€ฆ โ€ฆis that theyโ€™re wrong, which means someone who could have been your competitor, is wasting their time. Stay focused on the goal.

It's all about autonomy, and a big dream

Jason Cohen@asmartbear.com

Interesting data: Most small business owners make about the same as they did as employees. Proves that weโ€™re doing it for the autonomy, not (only) for the money.

Pro Tip ๐Ÿซด: If you are using AI for coding, try splitting your project into micro tasks and start feeding them to claude sonnet. This way you keep full control over the code of your project, and Claude will one-shot the tasks like there is no tomorrow. It's a super power๐Ÿš€

200k #bitcoin incoming? Still people thinking that bitcoin isn't here to stay. I think they have been burned so hard by crypto scams, that they can not see the value of the tech there anymore. Can't blame them

Christophe DUC@christopheduc.me

Bitcoin reached a new ATH last night, and not just any milestone: it broke past the $100k mark ๐Ÿ“ˆ This is a historic and deeply symbolic moment. ๐Ÿš€ The question now is, where will it go from here? ๐Ÿ‘€ #bitcoin #crypto #ath #web3 #btc

Remember, when you are just starting out, brute force is always the answer. Because you know nothing, and will know nothing for a long time. Then, after some time, when you have gained experience, you can start thinking about "working smart, not hard"

Switching/Learnng new tech stacks have never been easier than it is now whith the help of AI. So if you are starting a new project don't overthink it. Go for what you feel comfortable with. You can always rewrite later with AI having that context ready.

AI has drastically changed protoyping and MVPs landscape. Before the quickest way was to go with no-code tools (zapier, bubble) Now you can go for enterprise-level, fully custom code. Thus drastically reducing technical debt and increasing scalability. And it will more or less take the same time

I am surprised by the amount of people that can't see value into AI. (And I'm talking about decent devs) Yes, it is not perfect, yet. BUT you can still find workarounds to at least 5x your productivity.

This is for all the builders! I compiled a list of >400 directories you can register your SaaS on. Completely free. All that I ask of you is to like, comment, or share, so that others in the #buildinpublic community can benefit as well. :) Link to the list: docs.google.com/spreadsheets...

If I had to give juste one advice to new devs who are just starting out ๐Ÿ‘‡: You should start building something and share every step of the process in bsky with #buildinpublic community. Worst case scenario: You will get hired at a good paying job much faster.

If you're building software and making anywhere from $100 to $10k MRR with your project(s), then this starter pack is where you belong. Comment below with what you're making, and I'll add you to it. go.bsky.app/TQD5E89

Love this โค๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ Even though I usually like to directly implement the APIs. This will be a great addition to Laravel, and will make it a lot quicker to test things out and get Laravel some exposure in the AI narrative.

Earlier today I launched v0.1.0 of Prism for ya'll to start building incredible AI integrations into your Laravel applications! github.com/echolabsdev/...

Just landed on here and I'm trying to have some meaningful conversations and professional discussions. Heard that bsky is top notch for that. Let's see. Say hi and I will give you a follow๐Ÿ‘‡

You are up to date.
