Fun little sovereignty and anti-e-waste project. 10G and RAID-5 array in the budget pipeline. I also just think it’s very neat :3

Another successful Pride Parade full of smiles and flags! We gave out over 1200 flags for free this year and are hoping by next year to have given out over 5000 total! Thanks y'all for coming to #Pride in Salt Lake City & always be proud of who you are! #Furry #Fursuit #LGBTQ #Pridemonth #SLCPride

Doing our part to fight back against monetization/corporate sanitization of Pride, we gave out 1200 flags of all kinds (progress, trans, ace, and many more) at the #SLCPride for free! Representation matters and nothing is as rewarding as seeing someone find their flag and their eyes light up!

Happy trans day of visibility! Here's my POV of the biiiiig trans flag we carried from the state capital to city hall to protest the new law banning pride flags from government buildings. "This is what community looks like", we chanted.

I've been a shut-in for a while, but I feel compelled to say something about the weird state of the world, especially my home country. If you're confident that adversarial forces are weak against good principles, they'll be weak against resistance too. Focus on your community and principles. Resist.

You might be surprised how damaging shock and demoralization can be. Don't let it. You might also be surprised how far a little community outreach and resistance can go. Do it. And you might be surprised with how we can channel our energies, quirks, and talents to accomplish great things.

I'm posting this here because I'm certain a lot of people in my various overlapping circles have current political events in the back of their minds that are at odds with our principles. The world looks scary. But I also want to take an optimistic approach that could lead to action and change.

They're also at the state capitals of California, Colorado, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Ohio, Texas, and Wisconsin.

Looking into BlueSky's AT protocol gives me hope that we can always form communities and enjoy the "fruits" of social media regardless of who's in charge of the servers or owns your data. A decentralized system a day keeps the oligarchs away! Same with open source.

Before you subscribe to a VPN on Black Friday or Cyber Monday so you can access public networks safely: Consider using Tailscale and setting an always-on always-local device (like a raspberry pi) as an exit node. Free VPN.

It honestly feels kinda sad flipping the calendar from the pride month page. I need an entire pride themed calendar for 2025.

Furthest I’ve ever been: N: Skagway, AK 🇺🇸 E: New York City, NY 🇺🇸 S: Somewhere in Mexico, south of the Tropic of Cancer. Too young to remember 🇲🇽 W: Also Skagway, AK 🇺🇸 If I take a boat between the Diomede islands I could get furthest E and W in one go.

Sorry to reuse the same art I posted last year, it just so happens I haven’t posted this one here yet. This year is extra special to me, now that I’m fully out to my family 🧡

The new iPad Pro looks neat, and the new pencil, as well as ProCreates' new on-canvas layer navigation, could actually be very helpful! I just...felt irked when they went on about how thin it was and it only has about 10 hours of battery. What benefits would a thin tablet have for drawing?

I can’t get over how well-designed the museum in New Horizons is. There’s an evolutionary “path” that you follow that conveys evolution over a long period of time, from fish/insects to mammals. Did Nintendo hire an architect for this game? I dunno, I just think it’s neat.

If Wendy’s goes along with variable pricing, does that mean I could get rich by stuffing my freezer with Wendy’s burgers? Or sell bootlegs?

I think physical media can be saved if only digital licenses were more tangible. Like if entertainment companies were required to make “owned” content downloadable as a special file. Make it loadable onto a card or a usb drive, with licensing information in its metadata. Sellable and giftable.

I feel like I have a lot of creative energy in the morning before work; so many things I want to draw. I also want to try game development and VRC. But all that energy is gone by the end of work. My weekends are sacred “lazy days”. Just wanted to vent a little, or seek advice, idk.

Halloween should be on the last Friday of the month rather than the 31st. I think Halloween parties and trick or treating would be much better with the weekend to look forward to.
