I mean you could talk to a therapist and sign up for CBT to address your inability to connect with people on an emotional level through hard work and genuine desire to improve yourself or you could just outsource your humanity to a machine that can fake it better than you.

I get it tho, it's frustrating to see people talk about these things since we only have two parties in this fucked up country of ours and any attempt to criticize one is seen as praise for the other and not what it actually is: constructive criticism of one portion of a less than perfect system.

Democrats are beholden to corporate interests, old money and consulting firms. The latter is the worst to me because it's easy to be lazy & let someone else do all the grunt work for you, like talking to constituents. These groups rarely speak truth to power and reinforce behavior they profit from.

If any criticism of Democrats incites you to immediately say "but what about Republicans?" then you are part of the issue. We need to discuss the shortcomings of our elected officials and trying to immediately play the "lesser if two evils" card doesn't help in the long run, it just delays the issue

Fun fact: I am the shortest man in my family at 5'10" My dad is technically 6'1" but osteoporosis is taking a few inches back now so I finally caught up. My brother is 6'2" however, my cousin Steve is 6'4" and my other cousin Eric is 6'7". I met a distant relative at a reunion who is 6'10".

They're making machines to replace humans so you're shopping with a machine, paying a machine and addressing disputes with a machine and then they try to sell you a machine as a companion, a machine as a best friend and a machine that makes up stories for you and then wonder why people are lonely.

It's amazing to watch Americans realize that not everyone on the Internet is American. American culture is very pervasive in online spaces sure but there's only like 400 million of us. We are barely 5% of the global population.

Kinda fun how they're not even trying to hide who they're marketing to anymore. "Hey are you a useless white man dealing with insecurities and feelings of inadequacy when you see people who actually work hard succeed? Have we got an app for you."

The first genuinely honest ad for generative AI I've ever seen, from Microsoft / CoPilot A mediocre white guy sees his non-white colleague getting praised for good work, he asks AI to *literally copy it*, and then he gets all the praise instead: www.ispot.tv/ad/SoDi/micr...

Billionaires should be happy that we're just asking them to pay more in taxes and pay their employees better. We could do a whole lot worse than ask for you to be fair. Believe me, there are some waiting for the signal and they are chomping at the bit.

Thinking of the Straw Hat riots here honestly. When people decided they were ready to just fuck people up over their hat, there were people showing up with sticks covered in nails ready to go like they had them next to their umbrella stand.

I think the best part of this to me is that El-Sayed put Tommy in a spot where he had to admit that he was not willing to protect religious freedom for everyone. Well he didn't have to admit it but he did anyway because Tommy is a fascist who thinks only Christian doctrine matters and should be law.

This is Tommy. Tommy had a question about my allegiances. Listen to the end to hear about his.

Tfw you're not surprised at all

SCOOP: 'Tommy' from the now-viral exchange with Abdul El-Sayed is Thomas Teepell, a former staffer for Republican Senator Josh Hawley with close ties to Christian Nationalist Sean Feucht. He's the son of a former Bobby Jindal staffer whose consultant work was instrumental in getting Hawley elected.

y'all I know I can be annoying. I truly am sorry. I have no income, tons of debt and several severe medical conditions. I am doing my best but things are extra super hard for me right now.

PLEASE this is URGENT and I am really overwhelmed with stress and illnesses. I depend entirely on donations to survive. I am coming up short on last months bills and its already a new month. I am really hoping for a miracle.

Genuinely brought tears to my eyes.

When Grammy-winning musician Rhiannon Giddens begins playing “Old Corn Liquor,” a traditional Black American folk tune, acclaimed Chinese pipa virtuoso Wu Man recognizes similarities to Chinese pentatonic music and spontaneously joins in. The joy on their faces says it all.

Race play is one of those fetishes that I'm like.... "Bro there's no way this isn't in your everyday life..." Like if you're editing pics of Loona so she has sw*stika tattoos then you got fucking problems and I am one of them motherfucker.

Reminds me of the time I was working at a booth for a restaurant at a food festival and a bunch of extremist Christians started walking through and chanting about gays and evil and one of them handed me a pamphlet. I had to take it because I had my uniform on so I was representing my employer.

Great News (Part 4/4)- Gator Days

Thankfully the head chef was there, knew I was a gay and saw my restraint. He told me he was proud of me for not letting them get to me, then took the pamphlet and threw it onto the gas grill. Good man he was.

I'm getting nothing but add for Enjoy AI Town on YouTube. These ads break down to either. 1) Here's a hot AI girlfriend to pander to you and make you feel like a big special boy. 2) Hey check out our sort of porn. 3) Bad AI voice over that calls it "AL TOWN" in its own ad.
