The Acoma Pueblo is known as Sky City because it is built on top of a mesa. Acoma and the Taos Pueblo have competing claims as to which is the oldest continually inhabited town in the US. #photography #BlueSkyArtShow #photographersofbluesky #NewMexico #monochrome

A deserted church building in southwest Arkansas. I believe this was the Belton church in Hempstead County, but I failed to document the location. #photography #BlueSkyArtShow #photographersofbluesky #monochrome

Como, Colorado. The South Park area of Colorado is both interesting and beautiful. If you ever find yourself in Denver with a day to kill, head south to Fairplay. #photography #BlueSkyArtShow #photographersofbluesky #HumansofBlueSky #Humans #streetphotography #monochrome

I don’t recall what led me to take a landscape photograph in portrait orientation, but here it is. I like it better than the landscape orientation shots I made that day. I think this is on the million dollar highway in 2017. #landscape #photography #BlueSkyArtShow #photographersofbluesky

Monte Bello RV park in moonlight. July 2017. Because I haven’t had the opportunity to get my camera out, I am posting some pictures from the glory days of full time RVing. #photography #BlueSkyArtShow #photographersofbluesky #monochrome

Crowd gathered on theTaos plaza for the 2025 Christmas tree lighting. I took this with my #iPhone. #photography #BlueSkyArtShow #photographersofbluesky #HumansofBlueSky #Humans #streetphotography

It’s been quite a while since I posted anything. Here is my extremely cute granddaughter riding her suitcase through the house. #photography #BlueSkyArtShow #photographersofbluesky #HumansofBlueSky #Humans

Fiestas de Taos 2017. This has been a favorite of mine for a while. I guess it’s time I posted it. #photography #BlueSkyArtShow #photographersofbluesky #HumansofBlueSky #Humans #monochrome

I got a new lens today a #Nikon Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S. I think I’m going to like it. This is a shot of my front porch. Shooting pueblo style architecture never gets old. #NewMexico #photography #photographersofbluesky

Columbine in the courtyard, and a volunteer in the walkway between the house and carport. When you see columbine in the forest by a mountain stream, it seems so delicate. I never expected one to grow up through gravel in a high traffic area. These are straight from the camera with no finishing.

Even though I usually have a macro lens on my camera, I rarely shoot photos of flowers anymore. However, I had to capture the color of these hydrangeas my wife bought at Costco. The color of the blossoms is continually changing. #photography #flowers #bloomscrolling

The summer of 2018 we spent a good bit of time around Grants, New Mexico. This is a shot of the sandstone cliffs in the El Malpais National Monument. #blueskyartshow #earth #photography

Here’s a second image of the Sagebrush Inn in Taos. The hotel was closed due to the pandemic, but they continued to light the farolitos which were left up after Christmas. The lighted building exterior with dark windows and an empty parking lot made for unique photo opportunity. #photography #taos
