Some movies I recently revisited. Margin Call - A sharp and well crafted movie about how a "nameless" Trading firm dealt with the sub-prime meltdown. It shows how ruthless commodity traders are, in cold calculated actions. Wrath of Man - A Jason Statham vehicle, but not a typical one. Very Stylized.

I watched Neil Peart: No one’s Disciple today. What an intimate and exceptionally well crafted documentary. It is a beautiful and touching tribute as told by his friends. If you know of Peart or his drumming, I highly recommend it. It is a homage of his exceptional talent and his humanity.

Happy International dog day! Meet Louis! He is a Golden Doodle, though he is trimmed short due to the summer heat out in Kelowna. He loves food, though he is a bit of a food snob, but he really loves hiking and climbing, running and exploring and also cuddling when he is on his downtime.

Hmm, the 4th MLA since Kerry-Lynne Findlay was elected leader left the BC Conservatives today. And even though the BC NDP has reached its political best before date, the BC Cons are tanking in the polls too. Maybe if you didn't elect a Maple Maga racist as leader, this wouldn't be happening.

Out on a taxiway at JFK airport. A storm rolled in and we are on a ground stop. Gonna be parked a while as the pilots shut down the engines and turned on the APU. Hopefully we get to take off after this long ground stop and we don’t return to the gate. (You should see the airport in these photos)
