With Summer starting, I've now hit a major part of my massive #Transformers series marathon. I'm gonna go through one episode a day until it's all over. Welcome to #Unicronsummer!

My pal Danielle Koenig shared that her father Walter Koenig passed away last night at age 90. A performer whose kindness and warmth shone through the screen. He will be well remembered.

This was a generational vocal talent taken far too soon, I can't believe it. RIP Mr. Bauza.

Unbelievable loss. An amazing talent, and just a really, really good person. www.instagram.com/p/De8RFy4pyov/

It's that time of year, goblins and ghoulies! The night is young, the fog is rolling in, there's boysenberries in the air, witches are cackling... IT'S HAUNT TIME! Stay tuned for piping hot takes coming from yours truly after every maze tonight!

PATIENT C- Unearthed HEAR ME OUT. Sacrelige as it is to put a brand new maze on The Chopping Block, I can't ignore how anemic the lines were tonight. I highly doubt it's going away soon, but being less than half the wait of year or two year old mazes is a massive problem.

And that's another great Haunt! I had a terrific time this year, and I can't wait to see what next year has in store. Until next October, citizens!

LATE NIGHT RIDES: Jaguar MonteZOOMa: The Forbidden Fortress Yeah, I finally got to ride MonteZOOMa for the first time tonight. Quite the launch, felt pretty loopy afterwards. Extra disorienting in the dark, helluva coaster.

You know me, always got my eye on the future. Let's take a gander at... THE CHOPPING BLOCK PATIENT A- Room 13 Even for a Thursday night, anemic wait times might spell an end for this one. PATIENT B- Eight Fingers Nine: The Boogeyman Yeah, I'm convinced the Dark Entities area is just cursed.

UNEARTHED: Wonky ending aside, this has some excellent escalation and scene transitioning work. Scares aplenty, and was absolutely nothing like what I expected.

ORIGINS: THE CURSE OF CALICO (FAREWELL): We end things where it began, me and this maze go way back to when I first began frequenting the Haunt. Utterly unique, great use of scare actors inside and out, and every tweak they made over the years just made it better. I tip my hat to you, old friend.

THE HANGING: NOOSEMAXXING: As utterly delightful as it is crude, thankfully a little less angry than last year's Hanging, at least where it counted.

INKED: Titanic shoes to fill with how iconic Mesmer was, and thankfully Inked rises to the occasion with a dynamite scares and theming. Another new favorite with tons of great tricks and small details to keep an eye out for. A must do!

EIGHT FINGERS NINE: THE BOOGEYMAN: I don't quite know how describe what doesn't work about this one. Atmosphere is quite effective, and it has ambitious ideas. But none of it really comes together in a way to really take advantage of what it has. Still don't like the name.

WIDOWS: Lots of great scares and generally icky atmosphere to be found. The cult stuff does come around with chills, but nothing cohesive to the overall experience. Not deal breaking per se, but definitely jarring. Genuinely, stay away if you have ANY kind of fear of spiders.

MARY: THE HAUNTING OF WORTH HOME: Not too many tweaks that I can find. The limitations of the setting results in well done scares and atmosphere that ultimately comes together well, but the rockiness of the opening section cannot be overstated.

THE ZOO: Heads up, no more lights out. All right then... Definitely a new favorite. Raw, unbridled creativity on full display amid effective scares and some of the most cohesive setting and atmosphere. Whether these terrors are best left to the imagination or on full display, you make the call.

CHILLING CHAMBERS (FAREWELL): This maze was built for the Haunt's 50th, for good and for bad. Fan service aplenty built on calling back to some of the best mazes in the park's history. It always hurts to say goodbye, but I enjoyed the glimpse into the past while it lasted.

...yeah you probably know where this is going, but let's act unsurprised for the newcomers, shall we followers? Beauty and the Beast 2017 is indeed the worst movie I've ever seen. I spent a few months livetweeting my way through it on the other site back in the day, and I hope I never see it again.

Name your least fav Disney FIlm.

There is something of a side effect to watching @tonygoldmark.bsky.social's Escape From Tomorrow review, AKA my favorite internet review ever, and that is the compulsion to listen to The Masochism Tango by Tom Lehrer afterwards. Not complaining, of course. That's a feature, not a bug.

I was tempted to pirate HP, curiosity and all that. But @jessiegender.bsky.social is right - think of the amount of times HBO commented on GOT leaks and downloads, just as an example. They DO track these things, and even that drives interest. Let this show die. Trans people deserve better.

Sinners. Keep Michael B. Jordan.

Horror remakes where everyone but one actor is replaced by Muppets. Starting with Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

I can only assume how the music to fanfare the opening of the games will sound? And smell?

Hey, y'all. "Innocent until proven guilty" is a term intended for the court system, where a defendant isn't guilty 'til a trial finds them to be so. It doesn't mean that you don't use your own fucking common sense & good judgment to stay away from bad people. You're not imprisoning them. Thanks.

Just a reminder that Director David O Russell did this to his 19 year old niece. He’s a vile human and it makes me angry whenever he gets to direct another fucking movie. So please don’t watch his upcoming Madden movie. 🤢
