Given the willingness of Trump nominees to destroy their reputations for a temp job, the Senators shouldn't be asking who won the 2020 election. It's clear they're all in. Instead, the Senate should ask them to explain their reality-denying position(s). Tell us how the trade-off is worth it.

On the bright side, following SCOTUS' ruling giving Donnie more control over formerly indy agencies, at least those agencies will be helmed by incompetents. The damage will be bad for sure, but it could be worse.

If the American media, every one, covering POTUS, challenged any of his many lies just a little bit via a simple, factual follow-up, actual reality would overshadow his reality, and he'd resign in a heartbeat. American media has done as much a disservice to us as has Congress.

The costs to restart, re-install, and reinstate effective and beneficial programs and systems dismantled by the current administration will be felt for generations. Completely asinine.

This is a hell of an exchange. You should watch the whole video. @sethmoulton.bsky.social whooped him up.

MOULTON: I'm not asking you to talk about the Iran nuclear program. I'm asking you to talk about the English language. What's the difference between 'obliterated' and 'significantly degraded'? Are they the same? ADM COOPER ... MOULTON: Why did we start this war? Was President Trump lying to us?

The J6 slush fund takes the cake. At this point, it would be cheaper for America (and the world) to have the Treasury write a check to Donnie for $1 trillion in exchange for his resignation. He can say he's the world's richest man and the US can start to rebuild. US decline has def. been a choice.

To save his lickspittles in Congress, I see Dimwit Donnie concocting, in coordination with Putin, some sort of end to the Ukraine/Russia war so he can claim a massive victory. All to much fanfare. Once the dust settles, Putin does as Putin does, and the hostilities return apace.

I say America needs a R.A.I.S.E. We need to pursue the following to correct 10 years of chaos: R = Renewed commitment to The Rule of Law A = Accountability (from Prez, government, citizens) I = Invest in our Infrastructure S = Safety and Security E = Education & Expertise

@democrats.org should boycott the SOTU entirely. Better still, each Dem should have a paddle. On one side, it says "Lie" and they hold it up for every lie. On the other side, it should show the famous picture of "Trump and Epstein". Hold that side up when he's not lying. Don't give Donnie a break.

Daily, I'm amazed at the number of elected and appointed officials who witness immoral, illegal, unkind, and simply unacceptable behavior and choose to remain silent or, worse, justify it and participate. How have things gone so wrong among our leadership?

Interesting that Homan has a database on US Citizens simply documenting and exercising their 1st Amendment rights. Gathering their personal information with the intent to "make them famous". Yet we can't know the names of ICE personnel murdering, et al, as that would be doxxing. Sheesh.

Dimwit Donnie manages to blow things up across multiple fronts daily, but Dems can't somehow simultaneously make an argument against ICE funding and still support law enforcement. For that matter, they should also walk and chew gum on Epstein and economy messaging. C'mon @housedemocrats.bsky.social

I'm routinely amazed by the ongoing number of people willing to compromise themselves and/or lie in service to Donnie's administration, and to the detriment of our nation and democracy. They can see the damage being done on the daily. What's the endgame? Can they not see he'll come for them, too?

Funny to watch GOP fall in line on the absurd need for Greenland because dear leader says we need it for national security; however, for the last 75 years, it's never been a thing that I can recall being discussed by any prior administration or agency.

This administration's overarching mission is to be as petty and vindictive as possible, wherever possible and at all times. No act of pushback is too small for them to punish. Flood the zone.

I wonder: Has the MAGA crowd’s hatred of “others” (LGBTQ, immigrants, people of color, etc) yielded a material improvement in their lives? Do they even recognize that such marginalization has seen no change to their situation?

I'm currently listening to a podcast about the American Revolution. I've come to the conclusion we have our own 21st-century traitor, selling out America for personal benefit: Benedict Donald.

Call me crazy, but I think Zelensky should bring Wladimir Klitschko with him to the Oval Office on behalf of Ukraine. Big dude with a resumé Donnie would gush over and, importantly, respect. Imagine Wladimir standing next to Whiskey Pete or SS Miller. Talk about a visual POTUS would respond to.

Excellent game plan. DoD's legal rationalization for boat strikes is because degenerate Donnie says so. And because SCOTUS granted Donnie immunity for anything in office, the case is closed.

If, and that's a big "if", the Democrats ever regain power they will have unlimited references to Donnie for any accusations of illegal or improper behavior from the Right. Whatever they implement: tearing down the ballroom, court packing, ending Citizens United, etc. they should own. No apologies.

I would be shocked if Donnie limited his demolition of the White House to the East Wing. That's just the beginning. I remember his first term when he coined the White House as a dump. Get ready, folks...

When DOJ signs off on the $230M payment to Donnie, after consulting with non-existent ethics officials of course, I expect that Blanche and Bondi will add a nice tip for themselves. Seems appropriate for this administration. Sheesh.

Today, Bondi didn't even attempt to answer Senate questions she didn't like. She doesn't fear consequences. I'm guessing this administration currently has no plans on leaving in 3 years. I worry about the midterms.

When degenerate Donnie invokes the Insurrection Act, I hope those in command of the 82nd Airborne refuse the unlawful orders to take up arms against fellow Americans. Make Whiskey Pete Kegseth fire people way down the chain of command.

POTUS regularly engages in activity the media repeatedly portrays as having "questionable legality" or some tepid variation thereof. This will continue unabated given the immunity granted him by SCOTUS. Untouchable.

Pre-election, Project 2025 was universally unpopular. So much so that degenerate Donnie had to distance himself from it. Now that Russell Vought and Co. are roughly 50% through their objectives why aren't @democrats.org reminding America that thing they disapproved is actually happening?

Dems need to abandon decorum. They need to fight for democracy in the same way the GOP is tearing it down. Name your GOP colleagues who say things to you in private about the destruction they know they're aiding. Out them to force the discussion. Otherwise the ending of democracy accelerates.

As Gov't CDC becomes less expert and more lackey driven, I see opportunity. A @mcuban.bsky.social or another 1%er hires all the recent CDC resignations and creates a parallel version of CDC. One that can be trusted by those not in a cult. States could redirect Fed $$ toward funding

Hmm... I hear there's no way to add degenerate Donnie's mug to Rushmore because there's not enough rock. The Nobel committee has openly criticized him so that seems like a long shot. Clearly, a gilded monument in his likeness on the National Mall is the logical solution. Doug Burgum: get cracking

Why is it that GOP talking heads can say supplied facts are lies or incorrect and no one in media challenges them? It's simply reported without follow-up. Insane.

Lots of negativity between citizens and gov't which degenerate Donnie wants. On our horizon: 1) ICE or National Guard kill someone & citizens respond with major unrest. Gov't goes full police state in response. 2) Citizen clashes and injures NG. Gov't goes full police state in response. As designed.

If I were the European Union leaders, I would consider dealing with degenerate Donnie the same as dealing with a lesser version of Putin: Assume any "deal" isn't worth the paper its written on.

How long after DJT is out of office is it going take to rebuild the credibility of Federal law enforcement? The lasting damage to Fed reputation has got to be significant.

With ICE Barbie Kristi Noem taking offense at South Park for making fun of her looks (rather than SP's more important take down of her job) I feel compelled to remind her that POTUS routinely insults women for their looks: Miss Piggy, Dog, Horse Face, No longer a 10, etc.

I have yet to see a politician acknowledge they work for their constituents. Maybe the disastrous town halls wouldn't be so bad if they remembered who they work for.

Given the current Admin is following Project 2025 chapter and verse, why aren't Dems (and Media) refocusing America's attention on this? 2025 was so unpopular pre-election you'd think that would be a good talking point.

GOP politics today seems to be: dispute anything your colleague across the aisle says without regard for the obvious truth of a given matter while simultaneously referring to them as radical, unhinged, communist, marxist, etc. Demonize everything, all the time. It's exhausting.

Given our unitary executive, at this point midterm elections are a 50/50 proposition. If they do happen and Dems manage to retake one or both chambers I'm not confident they'll pursue the reform needed. Not enough pugilistic sense in that crew.

How can so many people be so enamored of one half-wit with a history bankruptcies, felonies, rapes, lies, cheating and a coup? The fealty is breathtaking.

The US supplying weapons to Ukraine helps our Military Industrial Complex. Would it not be fiscally prudent for that group to bring an offering of $$ to the WH? As long as POTUS gets paid he really doesn't care what happens thereafter. US business wins. Ukraine benefits.

Seems like lawyers would have a field day suing the government for ICE's use of excessive force during the disappearing of everyday, hardworking people. I'm not seeing any hardened criminals being rounded up. The Vought/Miller strategy is tragically right on track and Congress is useless. Awful.

I'm thinking it's long past time for legacy media to convey the truth with context. At this point the attempt at even-handedness or neutrality is misleading.

Dems and the judiciary keep talking of red lines and court orders yet when that line is crossed or order disobeyed, nothing of consequence happens. Couple that with a media that doesn't provide a context for unlawful actions of government. Not good for accountability, democracy or this republic.

"We cannot give everyone a trial" says the executive charged that he "shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed" of these here United States. Unreal.
