Sometimes I think back to the animation portfolio review I did where the person refused to put in a walk-cycle, a character turn-around, and a lip-sync because they didn't think a studio would be impressed by "basic garbage" and they didn't even waste their time making "beginner shit" like that.

I still can't wrap my head around someone wanting to go into animation but being so against the fundamentals. I make walk cycles and character turn-arounds for funsies, it's like the best part of animation. If I could get paid to rotate characters all day long I'd be a happy Sameth.

Sometimes I have dreams about people I follow on social media, but have never actually met before. Like okay random Bsky user who I only follow for professional work progress updates, I will hold your newborn baby so you can harvest your veggies. I gotchu. And your baby, obviously.

I thought I’d chime in for portfolio day! Can’t include my most recent work cause they are for projects that aren’t out yet… but very happy in having created this year! #portfolioday #r0ttenart

When I was at a music fest someone complimented my band shirt and I just smiled and waved cuz I thought they were pointing out that it very much highlighted the bounty of my bosom. It took me over an hour to realize that guy was the guitarist for the band whose merch I was wearing. FUUUUUUUUUUUCK

Another fire to the north of this one destroyed the area around a road we went out of our way to drive down, completely oblivious to the fact that the view we were seeing would be gone a week later. Houses I imagined living in are piles of charred rubble now.

We survived our first wall of death together. I ate dirt pretty bad after getting slammed into a group of people playing Mortal Combat on an N64 in the middle of the mosh pit. Dead serious.
