@opensecretsmag.bsky.social we brought our @tacobell.bsky.social story to life 👰♀️🤵
What's the secret to finding love? For @liuswrites.bsky.social, it was going out to @tacobell.bsky.social with her best friend. Read all about it in our latest personal essay, "Not Sure If He’s the One? Take Him to Taco Bell:" opensecretsmagazine.com/p/not-sure-i...
you're an absolute legend. maybe one day we'll all make it
After TBQ got popular, I got an agent in 2020. Cue 3 more years of awkward stumbling. I sold my book on proposal in 2023 but I had 15 years of living it. And then I still had to WRITE IT. It will finally be out next year. Strap yourself in. It takes forever and fuck your AI

So much time has passed that the "I don't even like Taco Bell" line in my piece is no longer accurate
End of year TBQ8 update: Great news! You're not rejected! I just haven't done anything! The last quarter of this year I've been on deadline with my book, recovered from a major surgery and then I decided to quit drinking too! With all that finally behind me, TBQ comes back in 2026. Happy new year!

Love this piece "Every human has one thing they do better than everyone else. Some people find their singular talent but most never do. Sometimes the universe conspires against them or sometimes they’re too lazy to look. My talent is that I can kick things really, really hard."

Inside JBC: An international group of researchers found that nicotine exposure through the use of e-cigarettes, colloquially known as vaping, led to lung injury in mice. The researchers showed that aldehyde oxidase (AOX) mediates this effect. More from @liuswrites.bsky.social: ow.ly/YnS350VEXV6.
