Working people, not CEOs, make this country run every day. It shouldn’t be this hard to live and make ends meet. Workers are not asking for luxury. We’re asking for some breathing room. aflcio.org/paywatch

Today is about appreciating the care, sacrifices and support mothers provide their families every day. We thank you and we’ll keep fighting for all working mothers so they have paid leave, equitable care and good union jobs. Happy Mother’s Day!

#FlashbackFriday One year ago today, President Trump ripped union rights away from nearly 1 million federal workers in the single biggest act of union-busting in our country’s history. The order was an all-out assault on workers and all who rely on their essential services

Pay the players what you owe them, @wnba.com. Solidarity with WNBPA players in their fight for a fair contract. America’s unions have your backs!

It was inspiring to see so many of our union leaders, including @teamsters.bsky.social Local 25 leaders from Encore Boston, at our Shop Stewards Convention yesterday. A special shoutout to our RI crew, who beat the snow — over 3 feet for some! #UnionStrong #BostonStrong #RhodeIslandStrong ✊🏽✊🏽

Keep saying it! Under the president’s leadership, working families are struggling. Health care costs are spiking. Prices are going up on rent, groceries, utilities and more. Workers are fighting for crumbs while billionaires and corporations get richer.

President Trump didn’t “lift” working people off their SNAP food assistance, he ripped it away from them. The big, ugly bill gutted the program and let kids go hungry so he could give billionaires and giant corporations more tax breaks they don’t need.
