It’s hard to find the words. The Conservative candidate for Juan de Fuca-Malahat saying, on camera, that First Nations need to be conquered. I think of all the First Nations in that constituency and what this attack must feel like to them.

Big takeaway from last night’s debate: @davidebybc.bsky.social has a plan. Major projects, investments into services, more money in your pocket. Doerkson has no plan to speak of. All we know is he’s ready to start making deep cuts. He’s going to bring back a Gordon Campbell style govt. #bcpoli

I am deeply saddened by the news from the RCMP that a woman lost her life during the Bald Range wildfire evacuation. My heart goes out to her family, friends, neighbours, and all those who knew her and will miss her.
