The Trump-Vance admin's policies authorizing armed ICE, FBI, & other federal agents to conduct immigration enforcement at polling places threaten our democracy ahead of the 2026 midterms. We’re suing to stop this unlawful practice from depleting voter confidence and local election administration.

East Potomac Park is a national park and golf course for everyone to enjoy. Our litigation is intended to protect this community jewel for the people and communities it serves. We'll continue to work in our plaintiffs to defend East Potomac Park from unlawful and harmful intrusion.

Today, we were inspired by the millions of Americans participating in the No Kings Early Vote Day. We are disappointed with Meta for the sudden suspension of our partner organization, No Kings Coalition’s Instagram account.

Social media platforms that act as hubs for information sharing for the public must protect civic participation, not suppress it. It is essential in our democracy that the voices of everyday people and voters be heard, not silenced.

No corporation is gonna silence our message! ❌👑 Keep helping us amplify #NoKings today so we can drive HISTORIC early vote turnout, and overcome Trump’s election sabotage.

We're challenging the Trump-Vance admin’s unlawful effort to collect sensitive data about American voters from 47 states to investigate baseless voter fraud claims. Americans shouldn't have to surrender their privacy because they vote.

We blocked the Trump-Vance admin’s reckless and unlawful reorganization of USDA — closures of offices, forced relocations of employees, and disrupted essential services for millions of Americans. We’ll continue to fight against unlawful attacks on civil servants.

This weekend, our lawyers were in court to protect East Potomac Park after the Trump admin unlawfully cut down hundreds of trees. We’ll keep fighting to stop the beloved public recreation space from being turned into an exclusive, high-end golf course.

After the Trump-Vance admin cut down over 500 trees in DC this weekend, we went to court. Today, a judge agreed with us and ordered the government to temporarily stop this unlawful effort that would irreparably destroy a priceless piece of American history.

Public and recreational spaces should belong to the people who use them — and who pay for them with their tax dollars. This administration promised a federal judge it wouldn't take irreversible action at East Potomac, then cut down hundreds of trees anyway, and we're in court to stop it.

The President does not get to abuse his power while the American people pay for it. We’ve blocked Trump’s political ads from being created or aired for 14 days and we’ll keep fighting in court to ensure the government is held accountable for their misuse of taxpayer dollars.

This Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we celebrate the history, culture and resilience of Native American, Alaska Native, and Indigenous people and communities. We recommit to challenging systemic inequities at all levels to advance a more just democracy.

BREAKING: We won a court order blocking Trump's taxpayer-funded political ads. There is no legal justification for the president to use taxpayer dollars to unlawfully influence electoral outcomes that further his own agenda.

The DOJ recruited criminal prosecutors and an FBI official to monitor polls in Arizona, according to documents we obtained. This major change from long-standing election monitoring practices is concerning. We will continue to investigate and hold the Trump-Vance admin accountable.

We’re suing to block the unlawful transformation of public lands along the southern border into a “national defense area.” This would turn 100,000+ acres used for recreation, humanitarian work, and essential services into a zone for military officials to conduct immigration enforcement.

This expansion includes adding Hennepin County, MN, as a plaintiff and making a new claim under the Voting Rights Act, which prohibits intimidation, threats and coercion related to voting.

The Trump-Vance admin wants armed ICE officers to conduct immigration enforcement operations in polling places during the November midterm elections. This unlawful attempt to threaten voters must be stopped. Our courageous clients will see to it in court.

We're asking a court to stop the development of an intrusive, harmful 250-foot arch proposed in Arlington County across from the Lincoln Memorial. This vanity project — dressed as a military complex — unlawfully bypassed environmental review and would severely impact the county and its residents.
