Difficult Art And Music

I'm not saying this sold out immediately at Norman records... but this sold out immediately from Norman records. More still available at our Bandcamp store! difficultartandmusic.bandcamp.com/album/i-only...

Arrived at the stage of being so defeated by late-stage capitalism that I'm either going to have to give up, or return to being a completely awesome, fully-functioning human being. Place your bets now.

Help us out: follow the worlds greatest band, @bekindcadaver.bsky.social, and hear about their awesome music / activities / rituals / performances. Hubris-themed Frankenstein-inspired concept album coming soon...

I mean, c'mon! Xmas cards with death and swearing! Your mum will hate them! Mildly offensive festive cards made by real human fingers! #fuckAI #madebyhuman #christmascheer #humbug www.artisstillhonest.com/store/p/anti...

Breaking the "don't mention Xmas until Dec rule" to announce we have some awesome ANTI-XMAS cards for sale! Distress your family and friends with some horrible festive sentiments! This is the first time we've done Xmas cards, so help us spread the word! www.artisstillhonest.com/store/p/anti...

Well at least that ends my deliberation as to whether I could hold my nose and vote for @labouruk.bsky.social. As a somewhat switched on researcher, it is abundantly clear there are almost no benefits to Jackdaw, and MANY drawbacks. Why bother, unless you are in the pocket of the oil companies?

Been working on some #christmas card designs...

Doing a bit of research. When The Arts Council launched its grassroots music initiative, they did so by putting on an event... co-organized by Ticketmaster. I struggle to think of an organization that has been more harmful to grassroots music (save, perhaps, Spotify). Beggars belief.

Hello, my pretties...

#LONDON friends! I'm playing a show on Saturday - why not come along and say hello!

Opened for touring headline band last night. Headliners refused to share any backline, managed to be rude to three different members of my band in separate incidents, the promoter move are slot from 8.30 to 7.15 (an hour BEFORE advertised doors), and only told us when we arrived at 6. Great night.

Organizing the next DAAM compilation. DL, possibly tape or CD. Hoping artists will donate a track - especially keen to hear from people who like what we are up to and have their own fanbase already, so we can maybe raise the label profile a bit... any one game? #experimental #avantgarde #music

After having my hours cut fairly dramatically 6 days before term started, it was objectively funny to walk past a department head yesterday, in a small empty room, and have him stare awkwardly at the floor rather than meet my eye or say hello as we passed each other. How do these people exist?

Not had a venue bar staff person literally pull my instrument from my mouth whilst I was still playing before, but every days a new experience I guess.

Anyone in Brighton this evening? I'm playing a show. It's going to be great. It's on a Thursday in September. No one might come. But you should! I may even do some improv alchemy inbetween songs... wegottickets.com/f/25029?fbcl...
