If you are looking for a human-representation of an impostor syndrome, look no further, that's me! I hired Claude to fix myself! (Disclaimer: No AI has been used while writing this post, my grammar/style sucks and that's OK for now)

So I need to make a BIG ASK to my network: If you ever worked with me on any of the projects, and you see discrepancies (IE numbers are wrong), please let me know. I know I can trust you (but not my memory/impostor syndrome and Claude by that proxy).

After writing this post and looking at the results of this mini-project I'm hopeful: Claude (and LLMs in general) are becoming the tools that give us powers to revisit our memories by doing interviews, build targeted portfolios and help us be better people! What time to be alive!

Sales and Recruiter spent time arguing, and both came up with their versions: very different but relevant. Data was prepped and rendered via Hugo, puppeteer and converted to PDFs.

Result. I used the general consulting version to update my LinkedIn profile and now I'm a bit scared. It shows a lot more business impact and it feels wrong (even if I know it's not).

Third. I created two resume/profile versions: one for general consulting, and another one for the case if there would be a good FTE position (I rarely look at this market tbh, but I still hope there is one that can replace my consulting).

I realized I had multiple "0 to Exit"s which I completely forgot. Second. I created Sales agent and Recruiter agent to help Claude bounce ideas. Well, most of the times Sales agent was happy to exaggerate and oversell. "Billions of dollars saved on AWS", "200% Uptime improvement" and so on.

My Impostor wasn't happy, so I brought everything to real numbers and went through it with multiple fact checks. Then I called my wife to cross-check all of these entities: (real) Impostor, Sales, Agent and Recruiter Agent. More changes have been made.

Well, I thought, maybe I should ask Claude Code to help me. And I did. First. I exported my current profile/resume and asked Claude to OCR it and save into a TOML file.

Then I asked it to build a set of interviews about each position (and b/c of consulting nature of work I have a good amount). I asked it to create INTERVIEW_<PROJECT>_01\.md with all the questions there. I took my time to answer it truthfully, and boy I was gushed by memories...

Recently I've realized my LinkedIn profile fails miserably at exposing my Principal-level skills (IE when I discovered an opportunity to solve a business problem by spearheading infrastructure/architecture changes/improvements).

Claude Code "Overloaded": I'm having a hard time judging whether this is a fair situation for Max 200 subscribers? Should there be any compensation or this is too much to ask?

I've been AFK on a trip for just a week. Did I miss this update of Claude Desktop or was it there for a while? Either way I'm impressed! As a person who groks modern frontend only by 5-10% this is mind-blowing!

Call be living under the rock (pun not intended), but I've discovered Ozzy Osbourne's music just now. Causes me shivers. WOW... (also noticing so many references / homages from modern music)

"Claude Code quota will reset at 4:25am"... I wanted Claude to continue right after the quota is reset so I'm scheduling the continue message via tmux and sleep (wrote a small function)

Tried Github Copilot Agent mode (Preview). Asked it "Can you remove flash notifications from Devise"... Well, it "didn't" disappoint. Also it's seems to be slower comparing to other models. Have you tried Github Copilot Agent mode preview? If not, what's your model of choice today?

Need your opinion on something... Self-hosters love @coolifyio, but it bothers me that I'm locked to the layer in front of simple tech. I need something a bit more modular, based on common technology, with more control, and potential to grow into a larger setup. So I've put together... 🧵

A multi-app setup which is ready to be scaled and is still relatively easy to maintain. 🌐 @Hetzner_Online 🚢 @Docker & Kamal 🚀 @rails 8 🏗️ @OpenTofuOrg 📊 @grafana Cloud & k6 🌍 @Cloudflare 🔍 @opentelemetry 🛠️ @taskfiledev ⚙️ @github Actions (but I still deploy from local 😅) 📦 asdf for tool versioning

One mono-repo hosts multiple apps and is able to deploy all of them at once or each of them separately. One hosts houses all the apps, but it's trivial to add more. Thoughts? Pros/Cons?

I recently picked up a 165W powerbank, and it's incredible! - The high-quality LED display adds a pleasant vibe - The retractable cable is pure genius! - It's airplane-safe ✈️ Kudos to @AnkerOfficial for such an excellent design.

My ideas might not always be groundbreaking or in high demand, but Rails provides a reliable platform to experiment, quickly iterate, and actually ship something tangible. Once it's built, the exciting next challenge is clear: learning how to market it effectively.

Whatever @DHH did, he knew exactly what he was doing with the Rails philosophy: convention-over-configuration and “batteries included.” It seems purpose-built to quiet my perfectionist brain: I just use what’s provided unless there’s a compelling reason to change.

The other side (“The Creator”) has always had plenty of random ideas, but executing them has always been difficult for me: choosing THE BEST tech, worrying about scalability, and doubting each decision afterward—all of this drained The Creator’s energy.

This conflict was especially noticeable when I tried Next.js: “How should I run background jobs?”, “What if I don’t use Vercel?”, “Is my module structure optimal?” Endless overthinking, courtesy of The Optimizer.

One side of my brain (“The Optimizer”) thrives on imperfections, relentlessly improving things. I love that part, and I’m pretty successful at it (you be the judge). But it comes with a downside.

I should say, @intellijidea + @windsurf_ai + Gemini 2.5 is quite useable. @rails 8 app with background workers and some scraping was pretty quick to make. Keeping PROMPTS file in the repo with my plans helps AI see the whole timeline better. The thing is getting better and better. Love it!

I called my NYC office's building front desk to check if they were open. An answering service agent responded in clear American English, got my details, and then asked me to spell "Broadway". Yes, the street where the office sits. Nothing wrong, just weird. What's next? Main St?

Is it the end of JIRA? It's definitely the end of the week. Thinking to move some projects there. Have you tried new features of Github Projects already?

OK, this is something that goes into my heart. Being a Windsurf & JetBrains subscriber I'm very hopeful to keep the best IDE experience and use Cascade at the same time. Thanks @windsurf_ai and @jetbrains Have you tested it out yet?

@Brave Browser, it's great to have an option to disable browser passwords. It's so liberating for those who use a dedicated password manager like @1Password!

I've been an adept of local-first for iterations on DevOps work (Terraform, Docker, CI). Github Actions changed it: 1. Make a WIP commit 2. Push it to a feature branch 3. Trigger a manual workflow & test 4. Repeat.  (Rebase when done) How do you do iterate on your DevOps work?

❄️ Shitcode snowball Maybe it's just me, but I dislike how Cursor and other agent-based Coding tools pollute my codebase with fixes I never asked for. The agent is okay during the 0-0.5 phase. Beyond that additional changes/updates/fixes turn into a shitcode snowball. You?
