Really looking forward to this. Always a great evening for networking and catching up. And what a brilliant guest speaker, the great Jane Burns

What a privilege to be part of such a warm, collaborative committee. Thanks to everyone who helped us make #ASL2026 happen - here's to planning #ASL2027 (after a quick lie down)

And that's a wrap for #ASL2026! The A&SL committee would like to thank our keynote speakers, case study and poster presenters, sponsors and attendees for their enthusiasm and engagement. Thanks also to the @ria.ie staff and our photographers for helping to make this year's conference such a success.

Niamh Tumelty and Cathal McCauley's conversation at #ASL2026 explores leadership styles, how libraries can remain relevant in the age of AI, the importance of seizing opportunities when they arise and the ways library staff can gain management experience through voluntary roles.

Given we have a website review coming up in Griffith, Francisca’s piece on a collaborative website redesign project will be one I’ll definitely be referring back to. And similarly Genevieve’s presentation resonated - the power of prioritisation!

Would love to see where this goes, really interesting talk. The range of responses to the polls were very illuminating!

Tickets are now on sale for #ASL2026! We can't wait to see you in @ria.ie in Dublin on 24 March 2026. With @niamhtumelty.bsky.social and @lizjolly.bsky.social as our keynote speakers, this is an event you don't want to miss. Registration and conference information at tinyurl.com/8s2kfz62

It's happening...#ASL2026!

Huge thanks to Chester Beatty Library and our tour guide Mary who introduced us to the history and fascinating collections of @chesterbeatty.bsky.social last night. It was great to catch up with our A&SL members too - thanks for joining us!
