Day 14 of my October daily art challenge. Here's another of my characters as a villager from the original Animal Crossing. Roll was another easy one to match with an existing villager species. Funny enough, the hardest part was just finding a reference for the music notes lol.

I'm trying something a bit different for this October's art event. I want to work on my output, so this year I'm aiming to post something every day. And I'm taking suggestions as usual, starting with Eva as a boo, suggested by someone who made some cool fan art of her recently.

In the pre-Halloween spirit, I cleaned up and colored the design for my new character, Alice. She's a vampire who became an online celebrity and pretends she's just a cosplayer playing a character so she can "hide in plain sight" and get easy access to blood from her fans.

It's not quite the spooky month yet, but here's a colored sketch of Uyo trying her best to look approachable and make friends. I wanted to experiment with a bunch of different things here, like dynamic posing, dramatic lighting, cel shading, etc. What do you think?

Got the urge to replay Advance Wars 1. I did the Advance Campaign and went for the Rivals route, because I hadn't done either before. I ended up S ranking Rivals in the funniest way...by parking a single guy at the end of a long bridge and causing the world's largest traffic jam lmao.

Damn, I didn't expect a simple sketch of Lina to pop off that hard (relative to my other posts on Bsky lol). Guess you really never know what's gonna be a big hit. I think I'll try doing more sketches between big comics and stuff, which'll allow me to post more art and be a bit more consistent.

Remember when I said I need to do more art of Lina and then didn't? I've also noticed I haven't really done much with Lina aside from pinups lately. So I want to at least do some sketches here and there that show off more of her personality and character...starting with this one!

Took the week off from art to relax and organize my reference folders. So this week's update is just a heads up for anyone that may not have seen it that I'm doing a community event where you all can suggest outfits for Eva to wear in future comics/art. Details in the post below.

Thanks everyone who came to hang out at the test stream. No major problems with the stream afaik, and I won all my Isaac runs, so overall a decent test run. For the first real stream, I'll try picking a time that's not super late on a weekday lol.
