Quick summary of the new Labour budget for the UK "Laa laa laa, can't hear you screaming for us to finally tax the rich, we'll pick on the most vulnerable instead". Straight out of the Reform playbook. Labour are just keeping their seats warm at this point. "Difficult choices" my arse.

Someone on a modelling forum I frequent showed off some Warhammer 40K figures a while back, and it got me buying kits to see how they'd progressed, and I finally got round to painting a few after a 40 year break. This is about my 5th one, and my favourite so far. A death Guard Plague Marine.

Got the PSU for my new (to me) Mac Mini G4 today. Cleaned it up, found it was a 1.5Ghz (1.42Ghz advertised) with maxed out RAM, and ran MorphOS on it for a short while. Might have a squint inside at the HDD and swap it for an mSATA later. #macminig4 #morphos #retrocomputing #retrocomputers

Could this be the first false-flag incident that the Orange Felon uses to justify martial law at home? RAF Fairford is a US base in the UK. www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/c6...

Let’s call it what it is. Reform TV. It’s not GB New, it’s not even Geebeebies. It’s Reform’s propaganda channel, masquerading (badly) as “news”, in the same way Fox does in the US.

During this past two weeks, I’ve dismantled a 2003 Power Mac G5, cleaned and re-thermal greased it, and fixed its issues, then pulled the guts out of my gaming rig to put it in a new case with a better CPU. BOTH booted first time round, so I’m starting to doubt my ineptitude. 🤨

I’ve been having migraines daily for the last several months, until I saw a vid linking aspartame (artificial sweeter) to migraines, gut issues and more. Stopped drinking soda a couple of weeks ago, and haven’t had a migraine since. We can’t escape it tho, as it’s in a growing quantity of our food!

Musk might have a trillion dollars, but he’s not worth anything. He’s a terrible person.

Started playing with my GreaseWeazel floppy disk backup tool today, and after failing with the GUI, I tried the command line option, and got it working. Loaded the .adf into Winuae and it worked! I now need to find my old game backup disks to see the raw graphics for the first time in YEARS!

Got my latest purchases from Sordan.ie today, a PiStorm32 Lite (with my own Pi4 already installed), an SD HDD mount, and a couple of ROM pairs to give me some choices (all legal). Can't wait to get one or more of my A1200s up and running. #amigaforever #retrocomputers #retrocomputing #amigacomputer

We need to stop referring to the rich, the entitled, and the modern Billionaire Robber Barons as the elite. They aren't. They're not better than us, they're worse in fact, because they have no empathy or concern for their fellow humans.
