One month at UPS. Everyone ahead of me at the hub quit. So I was 3 weeks in, splitting the belt and loading 3 trucks. I was so tired, I decided never to come back and mailed my badge in. Made me madder that my sister did the same job at FedEx and she got 2x pay + uniforms.

Worked on some desert 'scapes last week for my spouse and was so stoked that they loved and wanted them. The desert is so colorful!

Joined a Discord of lace crafters doing a special #31daysofcovenlace effort during August to do a lil lace every day. I've never really done lace when I #crochet so giving it a go! Blue was first and simplest pattern. Green is about twice as long and 3x as difficult. #lacecoven

Celebrating the progress of 2 years of painting. The twisting path was done today. The paler one was done about 2 years ago. Same size (3"x3"). Same reference. Same medium (acrylic).

Keeping my hands busy mid-week by crocheting a handful of dishcloths from a ball of (incredibly crunchy feeling) 100% cotton yarn. Tried to put in as much texture as possible! Will haveta see how it goes.

Sunday, I got around to sewing #mooddriftpattern on some vintage light blue paisley cotton. My first ever button placket! My first ever collar! Feeling pretty comfy at work today.

Made a cropped pair of #moodasterpattern pants. Sewed the pleats incorrectly on one side. And the fabric, while lightweight, released so much while worn that I need to size down already. But successfully sewn pants!

Busy day today. Went through my patterns and made sure they're all neatly packaged away and labeled. Today specifically, I cut out 2 @moodfabrics.bsky.social patterns: the Drift shirtdress and the Aster pants. Gotta find some fabric to cut them out.

This week, got a chance to sew an old saved pattern from Peppermint and In the Folds. Should I tag #peppermintplaysuit at all, since it's from 2018? Already have a few things I needta fix since my top is so much smaller than patterns like. But I'm not mad at a wearable mockup!

Keeping myself busy at work today by #acrylicpainting a quick little sunflower. Trying to decide if adding the wispy blue and green was the right move or no....
