With php2shell landing yesterday, I configured my honeypots to serve a reported vulnerable version of PHP.I finally got a hit. The first request was simple recon. This is being actively exploited and the source IP was not one that has targeted the honeypots before. These were the only requests.

Ukraine taking out the Yandex data centers caused a drop in botnet traffic, I checked in on my honeypots to see if traffic volume is down. Turns out that yes, on average the number of attacks my sensors are seeing are dramatically less now that there are 3 less Yandex data center operating.
