2 years ago today I was in the hospital, groggy as hell after life changing surgery. A few weeks later, the pathology revealed stage 1 cancer. The surgery got it all & no other treatment was needed. I have five tiny scars from it that are largely gone now. But I know they're there. And it's OK.
