Anyone feel like helping me work on an $1800 rent need? We've got $138 already on the board. I'll chip in the $12 to make it an even $150. Can you chip in or share?

Rachel Bean, still sick but less@colocharachel.bsky.social

You can sign up to be connected to a rent need directly via the Adopt A Rent program OR you can barnraise with me by chipping in here on Bluesky. We completed or funded in full FOUR rents this way last night. V: colocha_rachel $: ColochaRachel Dm for Zelle www.standwithminnesota.com/adoptarent

I am trying not to post on these events in this state of mind but: I hope people understand what the observers are doing is brave and dangerous.

Chris Murphy: "Over and over again we have seen these warmongering neocons, many of which have influence in this White House, cheerlead us into war under the guise of removing a very bad man. That ends up getting a lot of Americans killed."

Whatever happens now, we absolutely cannot allow Trump's refusal to seek Congressional authorization for what appears to be a large scale military attack on another country vanish from the media discussion, which already appears to be happening.

I’ve been saying this for months. The only way out of this mess is economic pain. It’s sad for all the people who actively voted and campaigned against this - especially the poorest and most vulnerable among us, but it’s the only way.

Trump voters are gonna have to feel pain, personal & economic pain, before they ever move off of him

Academics & others need to understand a few things. A 🧵 I) First, fascism is not inevitable. Research on autocratic movements show that only about 3,5% of the population need to resist to stop them. Fascism thrives on the silence of the friends. That why visible resistance matters. 1/

In addition to going through the website, I strongly encourage people to read the letter from Harvard's President, Dr. Garber. We need more scientific institutions to show this level of courage, no matter the risk. In fact, we need *all* institutions to stand up*. www.harvard.edu/president/ne...

Bring back *everyone* who was sent from the U.S. to CECOT in El Salvador. *No one* should be sent there. ALL their rights were violated. ALL of them should come home.

CNBC reacts right after Trump's "Liberation Day" tariff announcement: "And the market reaction after hours -- I’ve never seen anything like it. This -- I think, fair to say -- is worse than the worst-case scenario of the tariffs that many in the market expected the president to impose."

These people are the absolute worst of us.

I disagree with Collins and Murkowski on almost everything. But, I think it’s pretty interesting that the only two Republican senators willing to break from Trump, consistently, are both women. We hear whining from the men about death threats and they fold, but not these two.
