there was a "my vent art" meme circulating recently, but I'm presenting this: my joy art

"Stochastic Sheep", 2026 (non finito)

It’s so laughably naive for anyone to say genAI can be used “ethically“. The cat is already out of the bag, the models are already trained on stolen work. Even if you could build viable models on only rights-free work there would still be the issue of energy use, inaccurate output, etc. Be for real.

Every movie, song, and book that you love was made without the technology that people who don’t make art are now insisting is necessary for making art.

Please help another artist be able to draw again!! I want to see her future work!

Once again a reminder. Don't give them a damn thing and CANCEL YOUR NITRO!

Nothing will ever be enough for these people.

The Knight’s Repose, this month’s entry in the riso print club. I’ve been wanted to draw some medieval marginalia for a while now, especially snail-related

blizzard workers had to fight tooth and nail for years, but they finally did it: they secured a union contract not just for one team, but for all unionized units--warcraft, overwatch, diablo, and more

Just got a new to me watercolor set I'm messing around with. I needed a fun little test, so Pokémon is an easy go to. And this scrap paper can be used!

HEAR THEY GOT A COMPUTER FOR THAT NOW.

MY ORIGINAL PIECE SOLD!! I am genuinely still amazed by how much people liked my work. This has been a helpful push to get me to do more with my art.

City Smoke - 2026 This is my painting that will be on display at the Fulton Street Collective starting tomorrow! If you are in the area come by and check it out!

This is happening tomorrow! Come check out some cool art!

My piece is going to be featured in this exhibition! Come check it out this Friday if you're in Chicago! I'm very excited.

Just submitted a painting to a gallery, wish me luck!!

I think we’re long past the “ai bad because of stealing” argument and fully in the “ai is also actively and tangibly destroying our planet why are you even trying to use it as an art tool at this point” stage

Oh yeah I made an awesome gorget for my ren faire kit a few weeks ago. Totally thrilled about it despite all my dangly bits falling off immediately! And I guess it counts as an artistic endeavor.

Unfriendly reminder:

hey gang, I'm still here and existing, just continuously forget to throw updates on my work into the void. Been hitting a major mental block keeping me from making anything real creative lately too, but i'll get back to it eventually. I'll post some of my old work up here again soon.

Visa says they're still drowning today! Payment processors think that we're not organized enough to keep this up but it's we either prove them wrong or submit to global censorship so it's. not much of a contest. Keep calling all 4!!

I spent way too long on this, but I love how it came out. Would appreciate seeing it get some love. 🥹 Three kobolds in a trench coat is my favorite D&D troupe. #kobolds #dndart #pathfinderart

I'M GONNA BE DRAWING ON TWITCH!! For the next like. hour or so to get some streaming legs again. Drawing some skrungly Pokemon! www.twitch.tv/dizzzygeist

Remembering how to draw with this piece I meant to finish for my mom in November (oops...) Will hopefully be done with it soon and not take another 6 months to finish lmao

#2990 Mole

Ok I've been offline for a hot minute and been forgetting how to draw. I gotta get back into the swing of things again and build up my portfolio. But also the dread in my gut over the state of the world is holding me back again, so yay, gotta power through that again!!

welp. The thing I’ve been worried about happening for about a year finally happened. Please consider checking out my web store or giving me a boost, it’s going to be basically our only household income for a while 🫠 ♡ www.stillvreni.com ♡

Dont feel some shame because youre working a survival job while you pursue your creative goals. Fuck all that. Sometimes we do what we gotta do to do what we love. Youre a beast

I'm so happy I actually have a job lined up now, omg. It's such a relief to have the idea of having some income soon.
