I VERY seldom back crowdfunding projects, but @leder.games recent Kart (designed by Alita Robertson) and the upcoming Rebirth II by @mightyboards.bsky.social are two exceptions. It’s cool how one is by a first time designer and the other by an all time great. But they both look fantastic.

Moytura is a head-to-head game that throws an extra head into the mix that both players have to manage. Area control for two with special powers and beautiful art. I started my first session of War Story: Occupied France by @djackthompson.bsky.social and Dave Neale from @ospreygames.bsky.social with art by @kwanchai.bsky.social. It's a really clever choose-your-own-adventure of the French Resistance, using cards and other components to keep track of progress.

By far the game I saw at GenCon that I’m most excited about is @leder.games upcoming design from Alita Robertson called Kart. It looks beautiful, and the gameplay sounds smooth and fun. Was super cool to have Alita give me an overview.
