Saw DIGGER this afternoon. Remarkable artistry from everyone involved in the making of this important piece of art. Cruise disappeared into his - multiple - roles. Critics panned the film and shifted the narrative away from its subject to the budget. F them. They were wrong to do so.

THEY ARE NOT POWERLESS TO STOP HIM! Go back to Washington, stand on the steps of the Capitol and demand Johnson and Thune recall the House and Senate, and impeach him. THIS IS HOW IT IS SUPPOSED TO WORK! THERE IS LITERALLY AN INSTRUCTION MANUAL! (It's called the Constitution.)

Republican lawmakers are incensed about Trump's dismissal of Ukraine — and powerless to stop him. That frustration hit a new peak on Monday as they sought to address Trump’s decision to purchase Russian diesel, waive sanctions on Moscow, and potentially stop sharing intelligence with Ukraine.

🧵🧵🧵 The NY Times posted a 15-minute video today in which I got to tell NYT what’s wrong with its coverage. They said they saw my critical posts on Bluesky and invited me to do a video with them to air my grievances. Weird, right? I didn’t hold back. I blasted their sanewashing of MAGA extremism.

Absolutely stunning that in the NYT’s latest major story on Elon Musk single-handedly trying to save the GOP there is NOT ONE WORD about how he is the world’s most vocal white supremacist and advocate of ethnic cleansing.

I just read an AP article referring to Trump engaging in "high stakes talks" with Xi. Does anyone really think Trump is coherent enough to do any such thing? Plus, he's an idiot. Reupping: presswatchers.org/2026/09/dona...

He thinks a “deficit” means we send money to other countries for nothing. He thinks “tariffs” are a tax on the target country when they’re actually a tax paid by Americans. Why? Because he’s an idiot. presswatchers.org/2026/09/dona...

George Costanza defense forthcoming. "If it had been clear it was wrong to plant that cocaine and adderall I certainly wouldn't have done it."

A candidate for the Missouri House has made an initial court appearance on a federal drug charge accusing him of trying to plant cocaine and Adderall on his Republican primary opponent.

Trump, empowered by SCOTUS, entered office convinced he could do insider trading, sell pardons and favors, take bribes, steal and openly flout the law. Now, with the prospect of investigations looming, he is growing ever more fearful that he miscalculated.

The central problem with Chief Justice Roberts’s Friday afternoon “administrative” stay in the White House ballroom case isn’t just the lack of any clear standards for such relief; it’s that it’s hard to see how, *whatever* the standards are, this case could satisfy them. Me in today’s “One First”:

Cohn also taught DJT the value of dirty information. Nothing influences a vulnerable politician like the risk of having embarrassing behavior exposed.

In a sane world (an alt reality) today's dissents would sufficient to warrant Thomas, Gorsuch and Alito's impeachment and removal from office. If you defy the plain words, meaning, intent, history, precedent of a black letter constitutional injunction u are abusing your power and should be removed.

This week someone targeted my family for harm with a false report. We’re physically OK, but that doesn’t mean we weren’t harmed. I am beyond furious. Whatever your politics, this is awful, wrong, and can never become normal.
