#RandomGameSaturday Halloween- Illfonic's attempt to return to asymmetric horror games after Friday the 13th was forced down. Huge empty maps, convoluted objectives, and minimal player interactions lead to a boring, repetitive time. And adherence to canon means the central killer plays like shit.

Here's another big problem, Michael is slow as malasis and is easily out ran by competent human players.

We are giving up on Halloween. We all hate the game. Every match feels the same. The core gameplay loop is a shitty scavenger hunt. There's barely any player interaction. We're all bored. Playing public matches didn't fix it. We had an entire match glitch. We all agree there is no salvaging this.

Played a chunk of Halloween's single-player campaign and I can already see a big problem. Michael has to jump through so many easily-interrupted hoops to score proper kills that it may well be MORE stress-inducing and tense playing as the killer than the victims!
