Excited for tonight - glad its away as it's a proper test. Not sure Everton and home scheduling helps us but we should be able to play Zubi, Gyok, Hincapie, White etc in those games

Do you know how Arsenal become entertaining champions for the neutral? They fall off a clif like previous Liverpool, City and Chelsea teams as thats what neutrals want. The goal posts change every year from us, no mention of scoring from open play with us this season.

He's not stupid, made a load of money via a consulting gig and saying it's not my problem. He's part of the problem - the denial from everyone is incredible. The self entitlement/spoilt attitude of Rodri via the press and Silva on Odegaard tells you all you need to know www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...

bbc.co.ukManchester City charges: Roberto Mancini says Premier League rule breaches 'not my concern'Roberto Mancini says an alleged "double contract" during his time as Manchester City manager is "not my concern".

There's a version of the England team with Kane in the biggest games. A passenger for most of it - Bellingham needs to be the focal point of team (not as a CF but needs building around him) Gordon could be an option with Rogers or someone on the left (not Rashford)

don't quite get the obsession with people having a pop at Gyokeres. Once you accept he's technically not at the level of others (surely he knows this too) then just back him and don't get on his back. We always need a fall guy it seems. We wouldn't have won the league without him

The Athletic reported last year that the Arsenal players don't get a bonus for winning the league cup, wouldn't be surprised to see some kids tonight. Should be low priority until the later rounds

Commentators need to stop announcing after every interaction in the box that VAR are checking for a penalty. The majority of them are nonsense and it's intended to cause stress/panic - 100% not needed and done for drama

Brilliant win, Sunderland will give all the top teams a game up there. Glad it's out of the way and a big 3 points. What a save from Raya and tekkers from Bruno πŸš€

Myles Lewis-Skelly, casually dropping 8/10's on the regular while - Bruno, Merino and Zubi sit on the bench 😌 Great performances yesterday, fair play Chelsea came to have a go but we showed what a good team we are πŸ’ͺ Since Tuchel giving it the big one all those years ago we've given them nothing

Good luck to Martinelli, probably the right time but still sad. Scored some big and important goals. That first title challenge was his peak, great output etc. Can't help but think with Bruno behind him we could have unlocked him more or even as a CF late in games running in behind

Gutted Martinelli is going, not ready for the leaving video but a good pay day for him but he's form hasn't been good enough. Time to try something new. Tzolis, Eze, Dowman, Madueke - enough to rotate without a new signing. Wait for Kroupi

Chelsea playing well when the suns out is no surprise. They'll be dangerous and the worry is the premier league don't figure them out for a while. Be interesting to see how they react to being behind in a game

πŸ˜₯πŸ’” absolutely pulled us out of the gutter with Saka, Smith Rowe etc. Love him but feels like the right time. Get a sell-on and a buy back. Scored big goals and gave everything. Not compatible with Madueke and Gyokeres so something had to give would be my guess (and finances)

Al-Hilal now in advanced talks with Arsenal for Gabriel Martinelli and are confident on agreeing a fee soon. €55m+€4m offer already made as talks continue over the structure of a deal. Al-Hilal are also working on putting terms in place with Martinelli.πŸ‡§πŸ‡·

Neville calling Emery he best manager in the league... eh?https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11677/13576370/aston-villa-captain-john-mcginn-apologises-to-fans-but-provides-hope-despite-brighton-horror-show

De Zerbi's interview is priceless, blaming Australia, the world cup (only Porro did anything), duels etc. He'll be gone by the end of the season.

1 game in and sick of Carragher, it's going to be in a long season. Liverpool losing players to free transfers, local lads going for peanuts, gaps in the squad... you're not telling me Konsa would have improved them. Skysports really needs a refresh, like watching a live podcast

If selling MLS is the answer then the wrong question is being asked... Won't believe the stories, would be a bad move on so many levels. Especially when you have players who you really need to sell i.e. Vieira, Jesus, Nelson

it's unreal that; Trent, Maguire (maybe), MLS, Bowen, Gibbs-White aren't in this squad. Trying to get through with 16 players when you get a 26 man squad is criminal

Ben Stokes steps down but that charlatan Rob Key remains employed. Absolute shambles from top to bottom. Key should have gone after the Ashes debacle but has somehow stayed. Going on camera and saying there wasn't a drinking culture but there is a curfew shows he hasn't got a handle on anything
