I saw 2 hours old fawns in high grass trying to follow mom over a fence. They were tiny. I caught them and put them over the fence. Couldn't leave them on the side of the road.

I sat for 45 minutes with my cheap crappy binoculars. I discovered that is IS in fact, a little family of Killdeer. How cool is that?!
