My game 5 of a Kind is now up on Kickstarter! Check it out if you love deckbuilding and climbing/shedding! Also there's some cool stuff on the campaign by some guy named Reiner. Seems like a real up and comer in the industry. www.kickstarter.com/projects/boa...

This is one of my favorite Japanese drinks right now, but so far, I've only seen it in the vending machine at my hotel. i don't know how to describe the taste really. it's "melon cream soda" but it really tastes kind of like carbonated green kool-aid that someone melted ice cream into. unreal.

surprising fact: some of the best food i’ve had in japan has been in restaurants in shopping malls. as an american i’m so conditioned to think shopping mall food is super low quality, but in japanese cities shopping malls are major commerce centers and restaurants there are top quality.

a lot of my traveling is figuring out where the best place to wait is. do i wait at my hotel room to leave? do i wait at the train station? do i get to my next hotel too early to check in and have to drop my bags off and wander around? there's a lot of waiting in travel.

had a bit of a ferry adventure this morning. went to the wrong terminal and it turned out the one i wanted was an hour away. BUT i was able to just buy a ticket for the ferry i was in front of and it was cheap. and it turned out it’s actually better for where i’m going today anyway!

I was foolish to think i'd have the energy to walk 10 minutes to then walk the shopping street after the last 30 hours of travel. famichiki, chip star, and kinoko no yama from the family mart on the corner is dinner, and i think a long soak in the tub is in order instead.

Seeing movies in the theater in 2026 like it’s my job. #75 - The History of Concrete not really a rockumentary really enjoyed this doc that’s actually more about the struggle of creative expression in a world where everything has to be monetized, and the impermanence of things that seem so solid
