#SecretLair @stevesunu.bsky.social @maro254.bsky.social @magic.wizards.com Wish we could get more Bob Ross lands. Panorama style series of lands (say 5 mountains). Dual lands (not the original) and Triomes with Bob's art. Full Art Basics! My decks need more happy little accidents. Please!!!!

Sol Ring is a Game Changer. It should be on the Game Changers list. A turn 1 Sol Ring warps the game around it. Turn 1 Mana on turn 2, in any color. Turn 1 Sol Ring changes the dynamic for everyone - you are either very ahead, or now drowning behind. Same for Turn 2 & 3. #commander #mtg

@rebell.bsky.social please get Sol Ring added to the Game Changers list. It is the definition of a Game Changer. #solringisagamechanger #commander #mtg

@goberthicks.bsky.social Please get Sol Ring added to the Game Changers list. It is the very definition of a Game Changer. Day 1 of making this request. #solringisagamechanger #commander #mtg

@gavinverhey.bsky.social @joshleekwai.bsky.social @wachelreeks.com #commander Please add Sol Ring to the Game Changers List. It is the very definition of a Game Changer. Day 1 requesting this.

Why Not?

@gavinverhey.bsky.social There are many older cards that give +2/+2 counters, or grant abilities without using a counter (Visions Chimera, Phyrexian Splicer, etc.). Are these going to remain Artefacts of Magic's past, or will there be an errata that updates them to modern rules?

@joshleekwai.bsky.social @wachelreeks.com with the Commander Update, I have a question. Are currently banned cards that are Reserved List, even considered for unbanning. Not talking Power 9, more like Rofellos, Yawgmoth's Bargain, Fastbond, Tolarian Academy, etc...

@scryfall.com good evening. My gaming group cannot get to scryfall. The site will no load. 2 people on Verizon Wireless (x2 Samsung) 1 person on TMobile Wireless (x1 Google Pixel) 3 people on Verizon FIOS (Win 11 x2, CentOs x1)

@goberthicks.bsky.social @joshleekwai.bsky.social On Arena they toyed with an emblem that basically said "Lands you control enter tapped if an opponent controls no lands." Thoughts on using this in Commander to address the 1st Player wins >30%, 4th Player wins <20% bias? We have seen good results.

@scryfall.com why do "30th Anniversary" cards (ahem, proxies) show when I do searches with legal:commander and legal:vintage? I am also including game:paper.

Two global losses of service in one month. Nothing like single points of failure upon which to build the world's communication and supply chain. #cloudflare

@mattdinniman.bsky.social I have just finished up the Bedlam Bride and it occurred to me that I have pictured Carl as looking like Bruce Campbell the entire series. I haven't seen images of Carl yet, but that is who is in my mind. MR. Shop S-Mart himself.

@blakepr.bsky.social Just received my An Encyclopedia of Magic and was disappointed and surprised to find every card wasn't a FOIL. I read the initial announcement which said every card was foil, and then WOTC altered the article to remove that line of text. Very disappointed by bait-and-switch

I have this game

@pleasantkenobi.bsky.social @tolariancommunitycollege.com The Return of Nicol Bolas. I see it, in the clouds. He will burst forth from Mount Hood!

@bmkibler.bsky.social Is it True?

I am glad my 11 year old daughter gets these. YAY! I'm OLD

I’ve been sharing all my @monsterhigh.bsky.social makeup transformations over on my Instagram but I keep forgetting to put them here too! Let’s start off with #scarahscreams 💚

@rebell.bsky.social in this Hybrid Mana discussion another question has arisen. What about the Transform cards? These cards have just ONE MANA symbol anywhere on the card, yet they are considered the color of the front and back. These cards were only ever designed to be cast with White mana.

In the HYBRID discussion, what about transform cards that ONLY need one color of MANA (ever)? Why aren't these allowable based solely on their front? @gavinverhey.bsky.social @goberthicks.bsky.social @joshleekwai.bsky.social @wachelreeks.com #commander #Hybrid_mana

#secretlair @pleasantkenobi.bsky.social The 12pm EST secret lair for the Countdown is now pushed back 45 minutes to 12:45pm. Glad I wasted a lunch hour to not even queue for the secret lair. WotC never misses an opportunity to fail or lower my expectations.

@goberthicks.bsky.social @joshleekwai.bsky.social #commander Hey there. Basic Lands have reminder text, not rules text that includes a mana symbol. We are reminded that Extort's Orzhov activation doesn't count because it is reminder text. SO, I can put any basic land in any of my commander deck?

@gavinverhey.bsky.social #commander Good day. Something just occurred to me and I wanted to ask a question about it. Basic Lands have no card text. Their ability to tap for Mana is "reminder" text. Doesn't this mean you can put Any Basic Lands in any Commander Deck?

@wachelreeks.com @joshleekwai.bsky.social @gavinverhey.bsky.social Commander question: Hybrid mana was brought up in the Commander Bracket discussion - but no mention of Devoid. I know Devoid is a smaller mechanic, but it clearly states the Spell and Card are Colorless, why not in commander?

@tolariancommunitycollege.com I haven't seen anyone mention the ramifications of putting actual actors on cards. What happens if an Actor on card commits heinous crimes, or supports a racist or sexist or facist ideology? Now MtG has the face of a pedophile or murder on a card game for Kids 13+....

Arena toyed with a mechanic we have found successful to address the 1st to 4th player issue in Commander. "If an opponent controls no lands, lands you control enter the battlefield tapped." Any thoughts on it for Commander rules? @gavinverhey.bsky.social @wachelreeks.com @joshleekwai.bsky.social

@gavinverhey.bsky.social #magicthegathering #commander So, with the printing of Mass Land Destruction in a Commander PreCon, are we getting a Bracket 2 update to say that is okay?

Good day, Gavin. Is there some place to put questions/suggestions to the new Commander Format Panel? #commander #mtg

I always pictured Nicol Bolas as more of a Dr. Pepper.

No one gets the Lotus, because a single lair sold out in nonfoil

Secret Lair is having its 2025 Summer Superdrop event starting today, June 9th, at 9 AM Pacific (Noon Eastern). #SecretLair edhrec.com/articles/sec...

Commander request: For years, the Color Identity rule has ignored the DEVOID statement on Eldrazi, yet the Transguild Courier is Color ID WUBRG because the text says so. Reading the card should explain it. Can we get Devoid to mean Colorless Color Identity? @gavinverhey.bsky.social

#magicthegathering Anyone explain how Glarb allows you to cast X-spells with Mana Cost of less than 4 from the top of your library? The additional rule in Oracle doesn't square with the Comp. Rules. @josephmschultz.bsky.social @mtggoldfish.com @edhrecast.bsky.social @budgetcommander.bsky.social

There is nothing in Glarb's text that allows the casting of spells with MV less than 4, and all the rules of Magic say (X) is 0, unless the spell is on the stack, so how can I cast XBB from my library with Glarb. @maro254.bsky.social @gavinverhey.bsky.social

Magic's first expansion was UNIVERSES BEYOND! @tolariancommunitycollege.com @gavinverhey.bsky.social @maro254.bsky.social Purest, remember this. ##magicthegathering #mtg #universesbeyond

Will the release of Spider Man see a Benalish Hero and a Goblin Hero become "Heroes"? We are "Holding Out for a Hero"! @maro254.bsky.social @gavinverhey.bsky.social #magicthegathering

So, WotC has officially determined if green gets 7 mana, they take out a player, huh? #finalfantasy #mtg #wotc #commander

Oh, you forgot Shameik Moore as Spider Man and Toshiyuki Morikawa as Sephiroth.

Anthem is firing thousands of US workers in Feb. and sending those jobs overseas to low-cost labor. We have Tarrifs on our food, but no protections for our labor. This includes depts that handle State Medicare claims and FEP plans. @foxnewscorporation.bsky.social

Please tell me this direct rip-off of Akira isn't real. #aetherdrift #wotc #magicthegathering @tolariancommunitycollege.com @mtggoldfish.bsky.social @edhrecast.bsky.social

I am confused. There was an announcement there is no Standard Rotation in 2026. DMU, BRO, MOM, and ONE rotate in 2025. Bloomburrow and Duskmourn in 2027. When does OTJ, WOE, etc. rotate? @maro254.bsky.social @gavinverhey.bsky.social

So, maybe Avatar (Last Airbender) is the UUB. I don't have an opinion yet, not very familiar with it (watched it forever ago). Also, Eternities & Drift will have 2 Commander decks each, and Tarkir will have 5 (for the dragonlords). @joshleekwai.bsky.social @tolariancommunitycollege.com

Still waiting on my Devastator (constructicons) transformer cards. They have Reconfigure and a Kaldra like effect, where once you have all six on the battlefield, you create Devastator and equip them all to it for free. #magicthegathering #transformers #universesbeyond

Am I the only one upset that Megatron doesn't have Reconfigure? Seriously, Starscream is supposed to Equip Megatron once a game (episode) and blow up something meaningless.

Why are the offspring of so many other animals cute to Humans? Why? Why? Why?

Time Spiral Remastered was great. I really enjoyed revisiting the set, and getting it through a collapsed (albeit abridged way). Dominaria Remastered, less so. Started to feel to recent to be revisited. Ravnica and Innistrad Remastered have no joy for me, and just feel like wasted cardboard.

Another day of 30 min. at the Post Office to mail packages. Understaffed. Overworked. Another sign of DeJoy's "improvements"
