When I posted 3 years ago about the changing face of politics in many areas esp. in North Liverpool, a lot of people disregarded it and said never gonna happen - "we are a proudly anti-fascist city"/"we chased James Goddard's crew back into Lime Street station" etc...

Sina built worlds in Minecraft. He deserved to grow up in a free one. His schoolbook has remained open since January 8 as he never came home to study He dreamed of becoming a doctor, and joined his mother in the January protests hoping for a free Iran. He deserved the chance to live that future.

Now his friends have built his portrait in Minecraft. They should still be playing together, making memories. Please remember Sina. Share his story. Every child deserves a future. Every grieving family deserves justice.

I once came home from uni to see two strangers sitting peacefully and drinking tea with my grandmother in the kitchen. They were a English boy and a girl in their early twenties, both from Yorkshire, who spoke absolutely fluent Persian with only the faint hint of a Leeds accent.
