The blog post that started this is so bad. It's trying to compare rates for countries purely based on the total population it mentions 800 people seen by the Welsh gender service but then conveniently does not mention a figure on how many the English gender services saw in the same time.

I guess there is also cited a different study showing higher the transition rates but if you actually read it only two of 175 participants were documented to have shown regret which guess what is about 1%

It then says there's a 13 percent detransition rate and links to a study in which all the people at the time the study was done identified as transgender they just had a 'history of the detransition'. In the end none of the people did detransition (to cis)

Its understandable because the web page is not clear, but it appears that this is just a rephrasing of sex and gender, pronouns field has been added not removed. An additional information about gender indentity field has been added. Its clearer in the word document.

People often say that all trans adults but once trans children, and whilst true in a sense, I do think the experiences someone who realized whilst they were still a child will be very different at least during childhood to those who realize after they are adults

I wouldn't necessarily put myself down as having been a trans child, not in the sense that like the base feelings weren't there, but in the sense of I would have had a very different experiences if I had realized whilst I was a child, I simply do not know what that experience is like

These figures aren't reliable as the full-text read lists are not mutually excluded between studies. Actual unique included is 11 however. I don't have the energy to compile unique list but it could be as low as 200 imo, I suspect 200-300 as some studies will be octuple-counted
