I got tired of sending out regular resumes, so I built a PS1 demo disc instead. 🎮 I’m currently looking for full-time work as a Creative Director, Brand Manager, or Illustrator. Let's build something cool: donaberger.xyz #DesignPortfolio #HireMe #PSX #MotionGraphics #CreativeDirector #RetroGaming

i had a lot of music that didn't have lyrics, so i tried using voice to text tool to make my own .LRC files. And, boy, it did its best with Wu-Tang. *pat pat*

when i went to journalism school, they hammered it into us that media ethics are so important that they would destroy our lives if we ran afoul of them. and now, dipshits like this get to do shit on the daily that would have had me living in a box in an alleyway.

want better journalism, america? fix your shit first. electing a mafia to run the government will have the opposite effect. using the phrase "mainstream media" with a straight face has the opposite effect. ppl are allergic to understanding the difference between a reporter, an editor, and an owner.

make it so that regular people and government officials alike aren't randomly demonizing someone who is barely clearing $40k a year in their 40s. those people ARE the news, and chasing them away into the woods is how you end up with Trump TV.

back when i was working for akamai, i made this neat little illustration for a kubernetes orchestration platform. they went a different direction, but, i still think it was pretty cool and moody. #illustration #advertising #cloudcompute #marketing #martech #vector #adobeillustrator #graphicdesign

I do think its extremely funny that people are retconning Wind Waker's graphics to be an artstyle over tech thing because the cell shaded look has become so associated with that in the modern age. That was not the case for Wind Waker though man, that was insane cutting edge stuff back then.

Are you a sociopath? Try this simple test: • What kind of pickle do you prefer? 1. Dill pickle (kosher pickle) 2. Bread and butter pickle If you answered "2", please report to the nearest hospital or prison IMMEDIATELY.

I just released the 4th episode of "Tales From the Design Team", where I recount my memory of having been in the room with Magellan when Google announced free turn-by-turn directions. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMCL... #design #creativity #disruption #innovation #career #leadership #business #tech

And yet that fee is what's keeping the respectable publications alive, in an age where we all expect everything to be free and have devalued collected writing to a dangerous extent. It's an odd line to walk as a writer. Prestige versus mass exposure.

It's odd how the more successful you are in placing writing in respectable journals and mags, the fewer people will actually read it because it costs money to remove the paywall. $6 for a digital issue isn't a ton, but I'm a realist: people will click from here, see the price tag, close the window.
