Apparently.. It's okay to make shit up as long as you're cool enough to swear

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "Now our soldiers are allowed to be strong people ... they are the best looking people you've ever seen. And they stand in the streets. And they walk up to a gang and they beat the shit out of them."

I rarely visit Twitter anymore but am happy to report that despite Elon Musk's meddling with the algorithm to boost his maga pal's tweets.. the comments section is simply and overwhelmingly crushing their bullshit.. even musk's tweets.. and the white house, Mike Johnson, Steven Miller etc.. buried!

While it is the correct thing to do, these last minute tariff roll back gimmick won't move the needle economically in Maine anytime soon. The move does, however, explicitly confirm that Trump tariffs are bad policy that hurts Americans/ American business Mainers will see right through it. #GoTroy

Trump is exempting some Canadian goods from 50% tariffs while adding new ones: Valves and carpets replace plywood and packing crates; changes take effect Oct. 30, days before Maine Sen. Susan Collins faces voters

This article is neither stunning or an admission of anything..other than the fact Fox News is such a hack shop that they allow college students like Pedro (look him up) to publish misleading bullshit like this, instead of the actual criminality behind it www.foxnews.com/politics/ilh...

foxnews.comIlhan Omar issues stunning admission when confronted with brother marriage rumorsIlhan Omar denied committing immigration fraud through her former marriage in her first public appearance since a federal search warrant was executed at her D.C. home.

that is a GREAT point! stable genius is goin' down, do dah, do dah

The fact that the president's doctors are giving him the dementia test over and over again -- tracking his decline, most likely -- and that the president keeps bragging about having to take that test should be a five-alarm fire.

it's a well-articulated, fair and valid point... that's downright mainstream for such a "radical left lunatic"! we hear you, AOC

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

AOC: "As AI begins to encroach in our society, their goal is to take your cognition away from you. AI's goal is to take your thoughts away from you, your ability to think away from you, so that you become dependent on a machine ... reading books is active resistance"

the other irony is that slimy shameless loathesome Ohio republican Vivek Ramaswamy is a vegetarian..

John W@jcwill324.bsky.social

The irony is that Talarico is not a vegetarian at all. This is just another stupid line of attack to keep people from noticing what felon Paxton is doing. www.c-span.org/clip/campaig...

No amount of fact checks, receipts, data, photos, videos or archived social posts will ever be enough to make this lying son of bitch stop lying... Even if he was being perp walked to prison he'd still be lying and whining.. and his dwindling herd of brainless loyalists would lap it up.

Trump on his rallies: "I have 15,000 people, and I'm disappointed. We have 30,000." (Trump has not had anything close to 15,000 at his recent rallies, let alone twice that)

Think about it... The last thing most illegal immigrants want to do is cause trouble and draw attention themselves. Registering to vote illegally (giving a name, address, ID or contact info to authorities) flies directly in the face of that. To argue otherwise is simply bullshit.

He wrote a great story based loosely on his childhood.. but the truth is, He didn't fit in then, while he was at Yale, when he was a Marine, and he still doesn't fit in anywhere now. He's awkward as fuck.. Conflicted .. and morally adrift..

Ron Filipkowski@ronfilipkowski.bsky.social

You would think given the mythology JD Vance created about his childhood to launch his political career that he would quickly condemn that despicable ad against Amy Acton. But that would require him to have principles and be a decent person.

Only the lowest low life's hear 💩-talk like this and think... Wow, great point...you're my guy. "When you see burning steeples and raging fires in France, just remember that is what the radical Dumocrats want to do to America."

Andrew Egger @thebulwark.com with a slam dunk analysis in just 20 words!! >>> "The new White House press secretary doesn’t have the one skill Trump’s top flack needs. She just can’t lie good." Conversely, lying confidently was KKKaroline's superpower

This is some Don Jr caliber vetting

White House press secretary Katie Zacharia said Thursday her California Bar exam results are “somewhat inconsequential”... After reporting surfaced that showed she did not pass the examination... When asked, Zacharia said she was “not hired as White House counsel.” thehill.com/homenews/adm...

Mark Jacobs does a great job here of voicing a widely held critique of the NYT: "There’s just a lack of bravery. I think that you should be writing a headline that says that Donald Trump is assaulting democracy.” AME for "standards" Patrick Healy responds with straw men and mush. 1/7

🧵🧵🧵 The NY Times posted a 15-minute video today in which I got to tell NYT what’s wrong with its coverage. They said they saw my critical posts on Bluesky and invited me to do a video with them to air my grievances. Weird, right? I didn’t hold back. I blasted their sanewashing of MAGA extremism.

another day.. another cease and desist letter. Why is it so hard for these so-called pro-business Republicans to wrap their heads around intellectual property and copyright law?

Here’s the predicate for Cookiegate… the baker’s FB post that started Sen. Marshall’s latest fiasco: “For nearly a year, I made repeated attempts to collect payment, reaching out by phone and email. I never received a return phone call, and the invoice was never paid.”

Trump isn't so much saying that he won't repay the money he stole, as much as he's constantly testing to see how much cowardly Republicans will put up with. But worst of all, anything strategic like this is not coming from Trump but rather the vile enablers he has surrounded himself with.

Susan Collins is showing just how out of touch she is. “I spent a whole year without health insurance…in ‘94” That was 3 decades ago, Susan, when insurance was $1500 annually… Thanks to Susan’s vote that helped pass Trump’s murderous budget bill, premiums are $1500 a month now for some folks.

Trump cares only about money, revenge, power and fame. He not only lacks the intellect and drive to orchestrate the global corruption and policy strategy that staffers like Voight have built .. but also the morality to care. As long as he, or his family of friends, is getting paid --all good.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump shouts out Russ Vought and then says, ominously, "we have some big surprises coming up in a few weeks, right Russ? He's gonna be one of the important people in the history of our country."

Spoken like a man who doesn't drive, never buys gas (let alone pumps it himself), has never gone grocery shopping, and never cooked himself a meal. He knows nothing.

Word is, Trump is planning to do 5–7 rallies per week through the midterms. Bruh, there’s no damn way he can keep up the kind of stamina that takes. This might finally finish him.

Amazing that he even draws anyone to hear him reel off the same tired oldies and gripes .. And yet.. even if this election does go against him.. there is no imaginable scenario under which he will concede defeat so brace for maximum lies and ugliness Nov 4th through New Year.
