UK corporate donor pages now link directly to their corresponding Companies House registry profile. Note: Links are generated from the company registration numbers reported by the Electoral Commission. Any upstream reporting discrepancies will reflect in the linked record.

New feature: Party pages now include a breakdown by Donation Type. Explore the balance between direct monetary donations, public funding, and in-kind contributions for each political party, including the top donors within each category.

Put against historic totals since 2010, the reported £72m from Delo and Harborne exceeds the total private donations received by all UK political parties combined in almost every calendar year. Only three years recorded higher nationwide totals: 2019, 2023, and 2024.

I've added initial support for visualizing donation types. This is currently only supported by the Latvian and UK donor pages. With this change the Latvian dataset also tracks more than "money" donations. Previously membership, joining fees and in-kind donations were filtered out

I've updated the UK loader to now also track parties that are marked as de-registered by the electoral commission. Adding approx. +£3.8M being tracked. This also adds a party donation sum threshold of £10k.

Great to see the media keeping an eye on the use of citizens' money. But, for this to properly work, we need more #transparency, as @louisdrounau.eudemocracy.eu argues in @maxgriera.bsky.social's piece for @politico.eu. Following yesterday's #AFCO vote, the ball is in the @ec.europa.eu's court!

Some clear problems have easy solutions, but it does not make them the right solution. #europeanparties have been struggling to raise private donations for two decades. I've fixed a paging bug in our Ukraine party discovery logic. Previously, the system only retrieved the first page of the NAZK registry. We now track 52 parties that meet our 100,000 UAH total contribution threshold. Donation-fetching logic for existing parties was unaffected.
