Not surprising at all but the GOP is now full on supporting child rapists, and not the victims. WTF America wake up and vote these ghouls out.

Trump is actively violating the will of Congress on their bipartisan Russia sanctions and is now telling Ukraine to surrender and that the war is their fault. Trump must be removed from office, but sadly the GOP will never vote for out.

Wonder how bad it really is - remember Trump revamped BLS and how numbers are rolled up.

That's a big kick in the guts. Payrolls is much weaker, and the U.S. lost -23k jobs in March, well below expectations of +80k. Huge downward revisions, too: May now +63k (instead of +129k), June now +20k (down from +53k). Very bad news. Revise down your views substantially.

A great point, we really need a national strategy on AI and these data centers. Allowing AI developers free rein puts us where we are, the Wild West in not a good way.

If this Iran ceasefire continuation MOU is so awesome (as Trump says), why won’t they release the MOU to brag about it? Because it’s a surrender by US, Iran is much stronger and the US is weaker.

So if the military really only spent $29B in two months(ish), and were asking for another $200B, are they expecting to be at war with Iran for another year or so?

Wow, I needed this today. Thank you

Doesn't matter if the performance itself is staged. The fact is, talented musicians coming together and giving a performance in a public space means the masses get to witness this for free and that's beautiful. TT: Raphaël Froissart IG: Michel Tirabosco ~ Pan flute

Trump has lost to Iran, David slays Goliath. Trump is moving towards a withdrawal and complete failure, to accomplish nothing but pain for the entire globe. The US has become weaker and Iran much stronger. The rich get richer and everyone else loses.

Here is my beef with the dinner - half a dozen kids killed in Louisiana in the past week without a peep from the press yet a gunman breaks thru outer perimeter and is apprehended and the press (because they were personally impacted) will keep this situation, where no one died, front page for a week.

After the White House complained about an unflattering photo of Karoline Leavitt, it was removed from AFP and Getty’s systems. This is the photo in question. Please do not repost it. 👇

Why is the US MSM continuing to claim that Trump’s actions against Venezuela were a success? It started with comparing the quickness with respect to the press coverage of Venezuela to the long term conflict with Iran. It now cedes it was successful… full stop, can MSM explain the real success?

David Ignatious is a prime example, he even claims Bibi had tremendous success against Hamas….really? I guess genocide is good with our press and the GOP, WTF happened to US?

This goes beyond politics, and is not even a statement about politics. Something is wrong with us. This nation is broken on a cultural level. I can't define it, and I don't know how to fix it. But we are tearing ourselves apart. If we don't diagnose and treat that, the rest of it won't matter

Naming someone is not doxxing. They aren’t undercover. They aren’t intelligence agents overseas. This is outrageous - we are supposed to be a free Republic and these people want an authoritarian police state. Lawsuits should be filed & ranking Dems in Congress should act.

Great ideas Bill!

Bill Kristol@billkristolbulwark.bsky.social

Yes, the GOP controls Congress. That's why it's key to show Congress COULD stop the madness. And it's not just the DHS bill. Congress could repeal the prior multi-year $75b for DHS; set up a special investigative committee (cf. Watergate); amend the Insurrection Act; etc.

We need to quickly realize we are in a full fledged civil war, a war the Trump administration is intentionally waging on its citizens for absolutely no good reason. If we finally admit where we actually are we can start to fight back and shut this shlt down.

Holy smokes Seth Moulton just rocked it on MS Now with Alex Witt. Every member of Congress should follow his lead on this murder/execution of an American on our streets. Calling out the GOP cowards and Steven Miller as a terrorist was fire. Well done Seth, send some of your awesome energy to Schumer

WTF America, ICE murdered another Minnesotan, and Congress wants to keep funding this Bullshit?

Governor Tim Walz@governorwalz.mn.gov

I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening. The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.

Crazy idea? Every democratic representative and senator in Congress (and any GOP with balls) get their asses out to Minneapolis and stand with arms locked protecting protesters. Wear gear with “US Congress” in hi viz label. Standing up and protecting folks (take back narrative control) is a winner

I'm with @pearlmania500.bsky.social on this, and just as angry—as we all should be. A wife and mom was murdered by an incompetent ICE agent, and the first thing the government does is vilify her—labeling her a domestic terrorist. Do not let this go, America. #EverybodysBlack #ReneeGood 😢

We are overdue for another massive protest of the corrupt Trump administration. How about on MLK weekend with peaceful protests and resistance in honor of Reverend King?

One of the more disheartening aspects to Trumps illegal military action in Venezuela and elsewhere is the American people will lose faith and trust in our military. We could return to the days where we took our anger out on the military members returning home (Vietnam). They should have said no!

Well I was a few weeks ahead of my time but in predictable fashion Dems caved again. I hope the media has microphones pushed into every Dem Senator’s face asking specifically why and what is the realistic path to retaining healthcare subsidies? Hint: there is none

Dood78@dood78.bsky.social

Prediction (safe one I might add): Schumer and Jeffries cave today on funding, saying Trump promised to fund healthcare and other priorities, only to have Trump “defund it” via executive order. They will get played for fools yet again.

All those corporations that donated to demolish the White House need to be punished by their employees and customers alike. A disgusting display of business ethics violations and supporting the illegal demolition of the peoples’ house.

Hey Dems, take Mike “The Weasel” Johnson up on his offer. Tell him you are willing to negotiate a funding bill if he brings House back in session to do its work and negotiate in earnest. Also demand the new Rep from AZ be sworn in. If Mike won’t negotiate you walk but after you get Epstein petition

Listening to Vaughn Hilliard on Morning Joe building up Charlie Kirk as some great person has me ready to puke. No mention of his hate filled rhetoric and support for political violence. C’mon let’s be real, it’s absolutely wrong Kirk was killed but we can’t ignore he was fomenting hate with Trump.

I wonder if he feels the same way about stay at home spouses “sitting at home” who are covered by private insurance (or congress’s health plans) and choose not to work? Why do Republicans think it’s only bad for the poor to not work?

Got an email from Social Security bragging about the bogus bill saying it eliminates federal taxes for SS income, which is a lie being spewed by Trump et. al. It does provide a tax deduction for some, but doesn’t eliminate tax. They are gaslighting seniors using official SS email.

And interestingly they don’t mention the millions that will lose Medicaid coverage in a couple years nor do they mention the deduction is temporary.

Sooooo, when are we going to get serious and begin work strikes and aggressive “no spending” (except essentials) tactics? Now would certainly be a great time to start.
