I've never seen a run on the banks, but perhaps this is how you get one? Posted by Natalie Fleming for US Senate, who noted that she's "published a full factual briefing on my Substack linked in comments covering the legal framework, the documents being proposed, and the full downstream impact."

An online comment in a discussion of today's local protest: "name one lie by Trump. I think you're just regurgitating the same filthy hate-mongering propaganda of slave masters. But if you know the truth, please prove it. Name one Trump lie you can prove by your own intelligence." Wow.

This whole CEO/Monarch thing is working just great. Who woulda ever thought taking political advice from a sociopath who goes by Moldbug would be a bad idea? Curtis Yarvin Fears His Authoritarian Fantasy Is Flopping. www.thenerdreich.com/curtis-yarvi...

The demise of any semblance of respect for all constituents, regardless of whether they voted for you, is a serious problem. None of our politicians have all the right answers, no matter what they think. Listening and learning from everyone can bring about better outcomes.

There are many EU citizens working and paying taxes here in the US. I would think that would give the EU cause for a lawsuit against DOGE. It might help us all.

Seeing these enormous crowds gathered outside to protest Donald Trump, I am reminded of how Donald had to move his inauguration *inside* the Capitol because he was afraid (rightly) that the crowds outside would be too small.

Ah yes, red NE Nevada. BTW, the only demonstration planned for Saturday is in support of Social Security. This isn't for an all-too-precious Tesla dealership, or an anti-regime protest. (And, yes, a guy filmed himself bringing a gun to the BLM rally.)

Trump supporter Rick Fuze was arrested in Berkeley for using a stun gun on peaceful protesters outside a Tesla dealership. Fuze claimed they were paid protesters and he went there to show his support for Musk and DOGE.

Well I'm in Denmark, and I'm no longer buying anything from the US, nor will I ever set my foot anywhere in the country. This is permanent. Don't spit me in the face, stab me in the back, and expect no reaction.

There were howls of protest and denial from the GOP any time we pointed out that Republicans want to cut Social Security. Now the most powerful official in the White House goes on TV and calls it "the big one to eliminate."

The US military has removed photos of the B-29 bomber “Enola Gay” — which dropped the first atomic bomb on Japan — apparently because it contains the word “gay,” which violates their new anti-DEI rules.
