Eminem and Kid Rock having a new song together is.. weird. “7 Sins” is what the new song will be called, and it’s on Kid Rock’s upcoming album that he shared the cover and the tracklist to. There’s a certain elephant in the room that they’ll be addressing, right? 1/9

It might spark some conversation on Eminem’s political stances, saying that he doesn’t have the backbone that he used to have, and that certainly wouldn’t help his case when many online rap fanatics with Frank Ocean pfps see him as a washed up burger rapper that they regret listening to. 8/9

But yeah, just something that was on my mind upon seeing the news. I thought I’d touch on it as a passionate Eminem fan who doesn’t think his last good album was in 2002, and has taken some heavy influence for his own music (I promise he is NOT my only influence 😭) 9/9

Then again, I guess it shouldn’t be that surprising when he has seemed to be surprisingly neutral with 50 Cent’s capitalist views and Snoop Dogg shilling out for Trump’s inauguration show. He must be one of those “we’ll just put our politics aside” kind of guy with his moots, which I understand. 6/9

However, that can seen as very problematic in today’s political climate. Even if the song itself is just about their faith in Christianity and whatnot, many leftists would probably feel betrayed and disgusted at Eminem for making a new song with Kid Rock, and I totally get that, that is weird. 7/9

You see how weird that is? And I’ll just say; no, I do not think Eminem is suddenly MAGA now. Like I said, he’s dissed the fuck out of them. He dropped a BET freestyle AND a song tearing Trump a new asshole in 2017. He even threw shots at MAGA on his latest LP about his Slim Shady persona. 4/9

But it is odd how even despite their political stances, they’re still cool with each other enough to make a new song together that might not even be about politics, but rather their religious faith instead, just judging off the song title and what Kid Rock’s album might be covering. 5/9

On one hand, I get it. They’ve had some history together as Detroit natives, doing songs together in the 90s and giving each other music video cameos over the years (like 2013’s Berzerk for example), but their vastly differing political views is what makes that idea so strange now. 2/9

You have one artist that has shared a very vocal distaste for Trump and MAGA as a whole in just his first term, and you have another artist who has expressed support for MAGA, made music about it, and even headlined their own racist halftime show to spite Bad Bunny. Both made a new song together 3/9

This game made me realize how much I miss simply unlocking weapons and cosmetics by playing the game. Nowadays, you mostly get them by paying out of your card for them which is lame

I’ve never been huge on Macklemore’s music (only a couple of songs I actually like), but I gotta respect him for doing something that not a lot of Hip Hop artists do anymore. I wish that’s something mainstream rappers did more, especially the more lyrically inclined ones.

At a time where artists like Eminem and Kendrick Lamar are awfully quiet about the genocide in Palestine, it is nice having the Thrift Shop guy taking up that responsibility as a Grammy winning artist who’s had an up and down career, but a platform he can use nonetheless.

I feel like me and reality are completely disconnected. I’m not working towards goals, I barely talk to friends, I don’t even listen to my new coworkers until I screw something up. It’s like I’ve given up on life

Video Games are for everyone. PERIOD. No matter what the color of your skin, gender, etc. Don't give any attention to the nobodys & grifters that say otherwise. They're not worth the time of day & just ignore their toxicity and bullshit. As long as you're having fun, that's all that matters. 😎🎮👍🏾

Mfs be like “Why you excited for GTA6? It’s just the same, boring crime simulator that the last game was” and then turn around getting giddy over a new Pokémon or Kirby game lol

Is the Wolverine hate overblown or was the game not as great as we were hoping? Probably both, and that’s unfortunate for a game following up on Spider-Man 2 which went through a similar reception. After that, you would’ve expected a total bounce back that silenced the naysayers

That being said, I am considering getting the game on physical, just as, I dunno, a form of protest against Sony? (that does sound kinda stupid now that I’ve said it 💀). But $70 does seem like a hefty price, I’ll neither need a discount or some time to pass for it to go on sale

Unfortunately, the one song using an Odd Future beat may have to be either cut or reproduced RIP

All 12 tracks seemed to have been verified, so I might have hit the distribution jackpot on first try. I was totally expecting some songs to get rejected because I used beats from other songs for those tracks

Working on dropping my first project from 2021 with 3 bonus tracks (I have a hard time with DistroKid, I hate it, but it is what I’m stuck with right now)
