Greatest lyrics ever written: When I am King, you will be first against the wall - Thom Yorke I couldn't ever bring myself to hate you as I should - Ian Brown I'm dead on the surface, but I'm screaming underneath - Chris Martin Anyone agree?

Stayed in Missoula during a trip to the US once. The people were so nice. Welcoming, friendly and helpful. Made me understand that not all Americans were loud and opinionated. This seems to be true to form.

1. Missoula, Montana has cleverly voted to defy the Pride flag ban by making the it "an official city flag." This comes after a law banned the flying of the flag but made an exception for "official flags." Now, the Pride flag will fly defiantly in the state. Subscribe to support our journalism.

This is the story the MSM should be reporting. But they don't.

Jim Chalmers’ deft economic management continues to break records. The jobless rate in April marked 41 months below 4.25%, the longest streak since records began. Australia is the world’s only economy with jobless below 4.2%, inflation below 2.4%, and continual GDP growth for the last 3 years.

One of the insane facts I discovered writing this article is that WA collects more revenue from motorists in registration than it collects from fossil fuel companies in gas royalties

Murray Watt is a perfect model of the modern Labor politician. President of Young Labor. Chief of staff for a Premier. Boss of the Qld Left. Now he’s the Environment Minister with responsibility for a critical decision. He chose to destroy the environment. www.crikey.com.au/2025/05/29/m...

Queensland voters: we think we have a youth crime problem Crisafulli: I'll fix that, just vote for me Queensland voters: ok we've voted you in, what you gonna do? Crisafulli: how about some ads?

China about to change everything with Thorium fusion reactors and the coalition are tearing themselves apart over expensive, outdated, water hungry fission reactors. If the Nats get their way, they'll build the NBN of energy systems that Labor will have to fix.

All this hubub about the "collapse" of the Greens is rubbish. They've always been a party of the senate, their house representation was always only going to be fleeting. Their mistake was making a rep the leader as it would amplify anti green rhetoric when they did eventually lose.

So they haven't learnt a thing. Good to know. Let's see if either of them last to 2031...

Liberal deputy Sussan Ley and Shadow Treasurer Angus Taylor firm as the two likely contenders for the party's leadership, as a split emerges among Coalition MPs over what to do with its nuclear proposal.

I live in Calare. The member, Andrew Gee quit the Nats last term on principle due to their opposition to the voice. Gee has been reelected as an independent this time, helped by preference flow. But 30% of the electorate still voted Nationals, which tells me 30% of the electorate are racist.

Yeah nah, the silver tails of the liberal party aren't gonna take advice from a Blackfulla...

A former Liberal elder who spectacularly quit the party after leaving federal parliament lashes his previous colleagues, urging them to change or risk becoming a "lesser party" in the wake of another bruising election result.
