The protest came on the heels of the University of Oregon announcing on Wednesday that five sexual assaults have been reported around campus in the last week. The event also took place as people across the country stand in solidarity with a Jane Doe who recently filed a lawsuit against Cornell University, accusing seven fraternity members of raping her. The protest was announced by an individual who lives out of state last Friday on their TikTok account.
