I’m not willing to regard Trump slaughtering wild horses at the same time he’s offering Americans cheap “ground beef” as simply a coincidence . . .

You think Trump can’t possibly become any worse of a monster, and then you find out his administration is sending America’s wild horses to slaughterhouses. What the Trump administration is doing to our wild horses is absolutely disgusting. 🤮 There has to be a line.

Yeah, I'm gonna say this in public. If Donald Trump says he's giving American consumers 300,000 metric tons of "ground beef" at below market prices, and refuses to say which country it's coming from, while announcing a slaughter of wild horses... #SoylentGreenIsHorses

Hakeem Jeffries and Jared Kushner met today to see what they have in common. It turns out to be only one thing: A stupefying fear of progressive Democrats accomplishing lots of things that will help people.

Hey, all. Dave in Portugal here. I know you're all ready to whip out the pitchforks and tiki torches and throw the paedo-protecting Republicans out during the midterms, and I applaud that. But you should know, gas is $8.63/gal in Portugal right now.

This is one MAGA talking point that has always annoyed me!

MeidasTouch@meidastouch.com

Tennessee Brando obliterates absurd MAGA talking point about Dems and the KKK: "If there wasn't a party switch, I want you to do me a favor. Find the biggest redneck you can with a big Confederate flag flying off his trailer. Walk up, knock on his door and ask him why he voted for Kamala Harris"

I'm not saying that the so-called shooting incident at the WH Correspondence Dinner was faked, but if Donald Trump was to ever stage a Reichstag Moment, it would be RIGHT NOW, and just like this, to replay his alleged Butler, PA shooting.

OK, so technically this is a "done in 3", but this is damned near as close to a perfect game as you can get. Wordle 1,767 3/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜⬜🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

Has anyone else's feed recently become filled with WaPo and NYT paywall stories? I don't specifically follow either because they are both corporate trash papers with no reputation left to speak of, but it feels like they're gaming the algorithm hard.

Anecdotal data point. I've been in Portugal for 9 months now. Was chatting with the immigration agent who helped me with my paperwork. I asked her if she's still seeing a lot of Americans leaving. She said, quote: "Yes, we do feel it. 😮"

The dumbest possible solution to the Iran war is probably also the best one we have. Declare an unconditional end to all hostilities and pull our forces out in exchange for free international passage through the Persian Gulf. If they want reparations, tell them to get them from Israel.

What we THEN need to do is spend 5 years re-evaluating all major weapon system procurement contracts, cancelling all capitol ship projects, retraining for drone and counter-drone operations and force protection.

This new file released appears to show Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick discussing visiting Epstein's island in 2012. Lutnick previously claimed that he cut off ties around 2005 with Epstein after being revolted by him.

All the anti-war and anti-occupation protestors were right. All the far leftists were right. All the “woke scolds” and your friend who’s “too woke” were right. They were somehow even more right than they may have realized at the time. But really, it was always obvious they were right.

The Powers That Be want to implement AI in businesses across the US, leading to potentially 25% of the workforce being laid off. For this. This ridiculous and completely avoidable level of abject stupidity.

My 2026 Prediction. Heck, my JANUARY 2026 prediction: Venezuela will become a Mad Max:Fury Road hellscape. Iraq became a shit-show, and the people in charge then were 10x smarter than these idiots.

Remember that the Justice Department currently in violation of the Epstein Survivors' Act had every opportunity to provide redacted documents on day 10 and tell Congress how many agents they had working on it, how much funds and how many more people they needed, and how many docs remained.

First of all, Bill Clinton is a shitty human being and deserves what he gets. Second, the only photos they've got of Bill Clinton is in a public hotel pool in Dubai and a fundraising photo with Diana Ross's kids? Jesus, these losers are sooooooo desperate! Trump is a ra*ist! (fill in the blank)

So passeth a legend.

One of the things I like about Europe is that, instead of single-use cat grass planters for about $5, that last about 3 days, they sell starter kit polystyrene cold-cut trays and bags of sawdust and grass seed refills. For about $2 each, you can keep re-using the same tray that lasts about 2 weeks.

I know we need to focus on overturning the current regime, but I can't help but notice that with MTG leaving, and (hopefully) Kat Abugazeleh, AOC, and Jasmine Crockett, this could be the youngest, hottest Congress in our nation's history. (I'd add Cory Booker, except he keeps saying stupid things.)
