BlueSky is suddenly full of board game people! Please feel free to introduce yourself in the comments of this thread - let's tell people - what we do in the tabletop industry - a game we really like - an unrelated thing that makes us happy

Did anyone just... get to Gen Con? No flight delays, no issues? Thinking of you all!

✂️🎲GEORGE IS ON LUDOLOGY 🎲✂️

I am buying myself a new overlocker! My previous one was an Elna 664 Pro, it was great but I sometimes work with thicker fabrics like heavy ponte di Roma, and it struggled. Any recommendations?

There really is nothing like coming home from a lovely holiday to a genuinely welcoming cat ❤️

Weird not being at UKGE this year, but we went to Viennageddon instead, and it was honestly pretty fun!

It's nearly 4am. I have been awake all night with a blocked nose (🌳🍃🌾) What's your favourite reason to be up all night? This is NOT mine lol

Random question: my colleague says there's actually a huge community of Sonic fans. Would you buy a Sonic-themed board game for the theme? #sonicthehedgehog

The forest was shrinking but the trees kept voting for the axe, for the axe was clever and convinced the trees that because his handle was made of wood he was one of them.

OK - WHAT DO I WANT TO BUY AT ESSEN? Hit me with your recommendations, especially for puzzly games

Next week, I AM GOING TO ESSEN!!! You will likely find me either doing booth sales or demoing games like Galaxy Trucker and Wispwood 🐈‍⬛✨️ but if you want to know EXACTLY:

BBC News captures Doctor Who himself Sylvester McCoy at the Trump protest seemingly unaware of who they're interviewing.

I hope it was a great show! You can still catch the recordings at the same links. 😀

Singer friends: what are your favourite vocal exercises? Particularly interested in warm-up and accuracy, but also anything, especially for people who can't read music #singing #learn #exercise #learntosing

Sitting in Max's Steakhouse in Prague, being subjected to the "thoughts" of a recent hire at #redhat #Prague who is also explicitly and loudly celebrating the rise of fascism, talking about wanting to desecrate Marx's grave, and how much he wants to celebrate at Mussolini's tomb. Yikes.

My wonderful friends at @absurdistprod.bsky.social are looking for indigenous artists for paid work on their RPG. Please share! docs.google.com/document/d/1...

Howdy meeps! We’re going on hiatus for the remainder of August and we’ll be back in September. Have a great last few weeks of summer!

I thought I heard a pigeon outside the window, but I am on the 5th floor with no windowsill Turns out it was my belly How's your Tuesday?

Who do I know in Scotland? I will be in Edinburgh next month for Tabletop Scotland, and then travelling around the country and maybe down to Northern England while I wait for my Czech visa. Let's do something!

I’m doing victory laps in my kitchen right now!!!! 💃🏼 CGE just announced they are going to be giving away 100% of the profit from their Harry Potter game to pro-trans charities!! www.instagram.com/p/DNG48n-IVP...

I am venturing out to Camden Market tomorrow. What should I do? Where should I go? Any tips or advice for a first-timer navigating London? #London #camdenmarket #travel

I just got verified as an adult on BlueSky so I could use it in the UK. It said "estimating age" but it didn't tell me the estimate and I feel a bit miffed

What's a good "London" thing to do that they don't put in the guidebooks?

To everyone preparing for Gen Con right now: may you have a fantastic time ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 Stay safe, stay healthy, remember to sleep 6h, eat 2x, and wash at least 1x per day

GEORGE IS COMING TO VISIT ME IN PRAAAAAGUE What's your favourite countdown method/app/way to survive?

Hey there world, do any of you speak Latvian, Lithuanian, Slovenian, or Serbian well enough to tell me if some temporary AI voice-overs are just a bit bad/funny or truly horrible/incomprehensible? They are place-holders while we find actors, but they need to be "good enough"

#stolenstatus I just heard someone say starting a war because no one attended your birthday party would be like starting a war because you failed art school. ☕️

I'm setting up my pantry from scratch in our new apartment this week. What's something you always assume is in the pantry (nothing fresh, we're talking long-lasting dry, canned, or preserved staples)

Ok folks - where does one purchase small appliances such as toasters and electric jugs in the Czech Republic without using @ muh z0n ?

What will they do, d*port it?
