The independence of the Department of Justice is critical to the success of our democracy. The compromises placed on the DOJ by Trump clearly indicate that the end of democracy is his goal. Today’s meeting of DOJ leadership with White House officials conflicts w tradition and our democratic values.

The convict has made all federal workers (those who still have a job) and most whose businesses interact with federal agencies return to work five days a week. With modern technology, this is unnecessary in many cases. Let’s not forget the disgusting, golf cheater isn’t in his office most days.

I watched Morning Joe this morning for a bit. Joe was critical of 45 on several topics. Let’s not under weigh how Joe’s earlier capitulation emboldened a felon to break from traditional roles and policies by publicly accepting the legitimacy of a clown. Joe, this is your legacy: YOU helped 45.

Al Sharpton is making a mistake with Eric Adams. He should not defend him. It’s gonna be like Tawanda Brawley and Jenna High School where he made poor choices. He’s done so much to avoid taking further undefendable positions. Why risk more questions about his ability to evaluate facts accurately.

To be clear: the purge across our federal government, especially in the DOD, DOJ, and the State Department, are the result of a planned takeover of America. Removing the ability to resist the implementation of an authoritarian oligarchy has been the blueprint since 2016. Now it is happening. Resist.

Shattered norms, loyalty based appointments, retribution, pardons of hardened insurrectionists. and people are looking for answers reflecting a normal environment? Someone needs courage. Moderate Republicans need to address this. Our institutions are going to fold. This is a desperate time. Wake up.

The press is compromised. The rule of law no longer applies. The world order is being destroyed. Allies are frightened. These are some of the consequences of 45’s second term. And now he has a vigilante army and many people who did their duty as prosecutors, judges, and jury members are in jeopardy.
