INMOST caught me off guard. I expected something spooky, but found myself reflecting on grief and the limits of helping someone, even in my profession. It left me shaken, but also comforted. One of the most meaningful games I’ve played.

Tiny Game Chronicles@tinygamechronicles.bsky.social

Finished INMOST expecting a spooky game. Found a deeply moving story about grief, love, and connection. Not for everyone, given its difficult themes, but one of my most meaningful gaming experiences. Preparing for today’s recording. #INMOST #IndieGames #GameDiscussion #NarrativeGames #PixelArt

Theodora has presence. The raised weapon, the red cape, that expression. I’m enjoying her path, her swagger, the devastation she leaves behind on the battlefield. I’m also appreciating how much the character design does before anyone says a word. #FireEmblem #FortunesWeave #CharacterDesign

Tiny games and half marathons. Both take about the same time. One gives you a medal, the other end credits. Marcus went for the medal this weekend! Couldn’t be prouder! Well done, @marcusoneill79.bsky.social !!

Marcus O'Neill@marcusoneill79.bsky.social

Niagara Falls Half Marathon done! That’s my 3rd this year and fastest by far. And beautiful weather and scenery.

Nice! I am looking forward to playing Fortune’s Weave: Resonance….

Jason Schreier@jasonschreier.bsky.social

Pleased to report that the new game Final Fantasy Resonance is *tremendous*, a must-play for anyone who loves the SNES Final Fantasy games and hopefully the beginning of a new Square strategy to produce both 3D and 2D games moving forward.

Before choosing a dungeon in Fortune’s Weave, choose a purpose. Experience? Forging materials? A specific treasure? You don’t need to clear everything. Find a destination that answers a need in your current team. #FireEmblem #FortunesWeave

Bought the Fortune’s Weave DLC and wondering where your weapon is? Check Dagsion’s notice board from Chapter 4 in Part 1. Your hero’s Prototype weapon comes from a side quest, not an automatic inventory drop. #FireEmblem #FortunesWeave #DLC

Seth has the truth of it. Fabio is perhaps, one of my favorite supporting characters ever.

Seth Sturgill@twodollarhero.com

If you had told me that this dude was gonna have me genuinely emotional when I first started playing this damn game, I would NOT have believed you.

I was still struggling with my cold, but super happy we got it done!

EPISODE 53 IS LIVE! Join Marcus & Michael as they follow Gloomy and Nena's journey to find the sun in @fishingcactus.bsky.social 's cozy horror game, Gloomy Eyes. Apple: podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/t... Spotify: open.spotify.com/episode/3ZOH... YouTube: youtu.be/MFImaMRq6oU?...

Who needs saving in your Fortune’s Weave team? Who might be your weakest link? Bird Time builds an ally’s bond with Eshmel, improving their chance of surviving a fatal blow through intervention. Think about who needs that safety net. #FireEmblem #FortunesWeave

Fortune’s Weave’s dungeons may be misunderstood: grab loot, boost weaker party members, then get out in minutes. Once that clicked, I loved them. They add a welcome change of pace when you know how to use them. #FortunesWeave #DungeonCrawling #GameDesign #FireEmblem #Nintendo

Fortune’s Weave has rekindled my curiosity for Three Houses. Its gameplay loop and story setting clicked in ways Three Houses never quite did, but that spark now draws me back to Edelgard and the Black Eagles. There’s an unfinished journey there, and I want to see it through. Thanks Kevin! 💕

Game #62: Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Overall - a fantastic game, held back from the heights of Three Houses by poor design decisions (the world map, supports, etc). Too many units hurt the overall character quality. But the main cast is fantastic and gameplay is phenomenal. 86 hours well spent.

Never flip a turtle! There might be a beautiful woman inside it!! This week we venture beyond Japan to celebrate a European (?!) co-production with Studio Ghibli – THE RED TURTLE!

This is such a shame! I hope all staff land on their feet again. It is a travesty that Ninja Theory has to close.

I don’t know how Kevin does it. I am 60 hours in on my first character playthrough. How do you finish Fortune’s Weave in 86 hours? The man is a gaming wizard!

Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave is so, so good I could go on and on, but for now They took Three Houses, made it better, kept some systems and expanded them, added new systems, and made every QoL improvement you can think of The 36 year old franchise seems to be entering its Golden Age

This is one of the games this year that resides in my mind way longer than it should. I love the narrative, and it offers waaaay more than I ever expected. Still it manages to keep the balance currently between "a lot" and "too much". The learning curve though, 'just keeps on giving"...

Battlestar Galactica made it onto the top 40 list. Unfortunately some more European and Asian series didn‘t make it on the list: Dark, Black Mirror, Alchemy of Souls.

brendon bigley@bb.wavelengths.online

Honestly just amazed that Halt and Catch Fire (rightfully) made the list at all.

Not every game needs an ending to leave a mark. Here’s the journey so far: worlds explored, stories paused, battles survived, and a few wonderful detours still waiting for me. These are the games I’ve experienced in 2026, finished or not. 🎮✨ #Gaming #GamesOf2026 #GameJourney #IndieGames #VideoGame

Tried the mouse controls in Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, but they just aren’t registering reliably for me. Bummer. Tried recalibrating. No go! The Nintendo/Switch setup feels more frustrating than helpful, so it’s back to traditional controller controls. #FireEmblem #FortunesWeave #Switch2

The next adventure is here. Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave (physical) has just arrived, with the impossible choice of finding approximately 80-120 hours I have absolutely no idea where I’m going to find. Still: THE SCHEDULE WILL BEND!!! #FireEmblem #FortunesWeave #Nintendo #JRPG #StrategyGames

1st Chapter was phenomenal! The 2nd Chapter can only build on that!

Matt Sowinski@mattsilversoul.bsky.social

I'm sure to no one's surprise, I absolutely adore Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter. It builds on the foundation of 1st Chapter and stays one of the best games in the series. It is so, so special.

Loved watching the latest episode of Ted Lasso. For some reason, I connect deeply to the show. This latest episode addresses topics of grief, remorse, impostor syndrome and new beginnings. The gift to let go and start again. Deep topics, humanly told. I am a big fan! #TedLasso #AppleTV #TVSeries

Sadly, the physical edition of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was greyed out when I tried to order it. Sold out, or digital only for now? Either way, I had to get it elsewhere. Come on, Nintendo. Please make physical copies available to order. This is a No-Go! #Zelda #OcarinaOfTime #Nintendo

sickos indeed. Sony was a client when they launched the PS1. I was in publishing then. Memory lane for me, but sadly I only shifted more to consoles with the launch of the PS3.

Love to hear this. Gravity Rush was mesmerizing back in the day and I glad to hear it still holds today!

Dave Jackson | Tales from the Backlog@realdavejackson.bsky.social

I'm about halfway done with Gravity Rush and have loved getting better at flying around. I'm also blown away by the city design, with all of its nooks and crannies and alleys and levels. It feels like a dense place that people live in just as much as it feels like a playground. Cool game!

From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman isn’t perfect. The constant “Master!” adoration gets old, but I love watching an older man finally believe in his skills publicly, while learning to connect with people from every level. Quietly charming.⚔️ #Anime #FromOldCountryBumpkinToMasterSwordsman

Without saying your age, what is your favourite movie that came out when you were 20 years old. That would be Rain Man for me!

Glad to have experienced this one. Having lived in South America during my childhood, there tends to be a lot of transgenerational trauma still present and felt. This game adds a piece to that puzzle.

“What do you have to return to?” Two Falls asks that question with more weight than many games manage in 50 hours. It is a quiet game about belonging, loss, second chances, and community. 💭 Ep 50: 🍎: podcasts.apple.com/de/podcast/t... 📺: youtu.be/lbCdY0JOX8o?... #IndieGames @twofalls.bsky.social

5 hours into 007 First Light on Steam. Great Bond atmosphere, soundtrack and solid action, but controller aiming and camera movement felt less fluid than, for example, Uncharted at first. It is improving. More sensitivity and dead zone options would help. #007FirstLight #JamesBond #Steam #PCGaming

About 21.5 hours into Titanium Court. I had gathered all necessary tools and thought I was close to moving on, but the game threw in another major obstacle. I admire the ambition, but its friction can feel exhausting. #TitaniumCourt #Gaming #IndieGames

The 20+ hours now start to feel like 60… lol 😂. I might have another 3-4 hours in me, but then I will call it quits and dedicate myself to more enjoyable, motivating and meaningful gaming experiences.

Its disorienting dialogue and resistance to easy victories feel deliberate. Combat often makes survival more important than triumph. I see the intent, but the constant resistance can weaken joy, momentum, and achievement. Perhaps one of the more frustrating gaming experiences in 2026.

Didn’t expect Two Falls to leave me with such a powerful truth: history always has more than one perspective. What gets called “progress” often comes at a cost, and for every winner, someone else may be left to pay the price. @twofalls.bsky.social
