We can always argue on the design choices of WAR, whether people too much care about decimal points, whether some relative weights should be adjusted. But it is inarguable that every team in baseball *heavily* uses analytics, far more than the Moneyball era A's *ever* did. MIL and TB more than most

Exactly one year ago today, I went to the hospital after waking up at 2am with numbness in my hands and feet. That numbness turned out to be the first symptom of an awful autoimmune disorder known as Guillain-Barré syndrome. About a week later, my body was almost completely paralyzed.

It’s been a long, painful road back to health, but all the rehab and hard work has led to the successful run from this morning you see in this picture. I am incredibly thankful for my progress, and for all the love and support I received to make this recovery happen.

The single biggest mistake of the Cohen Era was the Baez/Crow-Armstrong trade. Number 2 was not making a very serious, winning effort to sign Freddie Freeman when he was a free agent.

Secretary of (Losing) Wars Hegseth rejects meritocracy. He doesn't want a military or service academies filled w/ the best people (no matter what color, gender, orientation, etc.), he wants a military that looks and thinks just like him. It's a recipe for incompetence, a topic on which he's expert.

Since the start of 2025, the Mets are 75-103 with Brooks Raley for a paltry .421 winning percentage. They are now 61-43 without Brooks Raley for a very nice .587 winning percentage. Coincidence? I think not!
