@jenmsft.bsky.social This came to me today. BUT... Can, ALSO, access Terminal as Admin via the K/B shortcut Win+X+A

This is GREAT when used together π: 1. Windhawk Start Theme: OnlySearch (Minimal) π OS Start size, Small 2. The Applications windowβππ 3. Win at the Left 4. Edge search bar using a Windhawk Taskar space & OS set to Hide taskbar 5. Hover Sys Tray Date for Weather Windhawk 6. Scroll volume task bar

@jenmsft.bsky.social Here is a non-tech tip... Bananas π & avocados π₯: When both reach their desired ripeness, putting them in the fridge stops the ripening process in its tracks πππ Keeping them nice to eat for longer π
@jenmsft.bsky.social Since task bar Search/Win+S and Win&type are NOW IDENTICAL there is no need or good reason to have Search taking up space on the task bar, anymore π
@jenmsft.bsky.social These 3 things MAY be coming to Win11 π€ 1. Applications window 2. D+# K/B shortcut for selecting Multiple Desktops 3. Choose background in Edge & Workspaces for their identifying thumbnails
@jenmsft.bsky.social A neat 'NPT'. Open Edge > WHATEVER > Images, open one > & hit View image. NOW, when minimised (NO X) Edge is left on THAT tab AND Rt Clk > Close other tabs & the Edge thumbnail is it, the selected image Works for Edge Channels and Edge plus Workspaces* "Tech" = Edge + 3 Wksps
@jenmsft.bsky.social Windhawk's OnlySearch 'start' is even better, now, than it, already, was... even without this OS Settings toggle on, it is 'clean' as a whistle ππ
@jenmsft.bsky.social The OS & Windhawk play so nicely togetherβ26H2 Start size choice DOES act on a Windhawk Start π, (OnlySearch, in this case). (And) Have no fear π, there is the Apps window ππ
@jenmsft.bsky.social Been trying for months to have Edge remove this Switch to a new look & toggle from NTPs. Well, at least, now, it is no longer blocking or overriding Weather.
@jenmsft.bsky.social Look @ this... more weather info than the Widgets icon πππ
@jenmsft.bsky.social I have an Intel PC & 26H2... fun keeping up with it π Whooosh πββοΈββ‘οΈ π€£ππ
@jenmsft.bsky.social Ask how. You will not use Start, again.
@jenmsft.bsky.social Win+S is now identical to Win&type. All the crap that WAS in Win+s is gone πππ (Win+S is on the right)
@jenmsft.bsky.social Here is a really fast way to open Terminal... just Rt Clk on the desktop
@jenmsft.bsky.social This is brilliant for accessing apps and D+# would be a brilliant K/B shortcut for accessing desktops ππ
Well, no more checking for or waiting for 26H2 π & wasn't via WU. A MS Tech thought he'd fix a glitch w/ MCT. I told him that would result in 26H2. Edition Windows 11 Pro Version 26H2 Installed on βThu β8 βOct β26 OS build 26300.9550 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.372.0
@jenmsft.bsky.social Read the blog & some Builds sound 'small'. They may download fairly quickly, but, still, DO take a looong time β³ to install... Patience IS a virtue π
@corrine.bsky.social 26H2 is now GRADUALLY rolling out w/ good & cool stuff. Do NOT use MCT to get itβππ It's a wee Enablement Pkg. Don't be overanxious, impatient & redo the entire OS w/ MCT just for 26H2, just wait for it via WUβππ

@jenmsft.bsky.social If you don't know of this menu, you should discover it. Rt Clk Win opens it. But Win+x opens it showing listing with underlined letters, which are K/B shortcuts for the items, ie Win+X+g > the Computer Management panel.
