In the closed door hearing, Smith was extremely deft in parrying aggressive questions and making Rs eat their lunch. His calm demeanor and especially his command of the facts repeatedly clobbered them. Jim Jordan et al may get buzzsawed at hearing if they deploy their typical tendentious bombast.

We've had abuses by federal officers before, and institutional endemic abuse by small local police forces. Good suffered three bullet wounds. Two were not life-threatening, according to the autopsy. The third "struck her on the left side of her head near the temple, and exited on the right side of her head." Seems that had to be either shot #2 or # 3 which Ross fired when he was not in danger's way.
